I had a leaking water main line in my basement, Dan Smith was sub contracted by Bies plumbing to do the job. Keith and his crew were great to work with. The were able to pull the old line out while pulling the new copper and didn't have to dig up my front yard. It was so clean and easy. Keith's crew who did the work were efficient, courteous, knowledgeable and very professional. They explained things as they were working and cleaned up extremely well. I would recommend this company 1000% if you have plumbing needs.

I cannot say enough about Dan and his crew. Dan showed up personally to assess the situation and within 24hrs his crew was on site and within 36hrs my sewer lateral was replaced. And this was all on New Years Eve day.

He handled every bit of paperwork for permitting and even got me a $2,500 sewer lateral credit through the local replacement program that I didn’t even know existed.

I have used Dan Smith Plumbing a few times - they have always been great - friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Mike was out today - we had a leak in the upstairs bath. Today, James came out for a second opinion at my son’s home. Another company had told him he needed multiple repairs, a new water heater, expansion pump, hose bib, and house shut off valve, all adding up to a top total of $5846. The only part of this which actually needed to be done was a new $50 expansion pump and a tiny $14 vacuum breaker to fix the hose bib, instead of replacing the entire thing. James was extremely professional, thorough, and quick to respond. It means so much to know that there are companies you can trust not to take advantage of you. Highly recommend this company!

Would recommend 10/10 . Came early the next morning after calling for an emergency. Also fixed other issues while there. In a timely manner. Thought the issue was fixed and it wasn't came the next day to find out it's most likely not a plumbing issue. (Ac unit) didn't charge us for something they should've realized the first day. Best plumbing service we have used. Thank you thank-you .

Dan and his crew did a fantastic job! They came in on short notice and got me out of a jam. My Property failed an occupancy inspection in St.Louis County and needed the sink drains brought up to code. Dan and his crew worked on Saturday in order for me to meet the weekend deadline for occupancy. They did a great job and the work flew through St.Louis Counties inspection. Thanks to Dan and his Crew.

Horrible driving, going 20 over and almost causing wrecks. I wouldn’t put your company name and phone number on my truck if I was going to be endangering ppl on the road. And not to forget there was a trailer in tow. Considering he was 2ft from our bumper and going 90mph with a trailer. Do better

I have never witnessed a more unprofessional company. Without consulting us (homeowner/architect) they decided to change the location of our new water service, ripped up a garden without notice, left mud throughout our house. They misrepresented their relationship with the plumbing company that we hired (they were subbed out to do new water service only), and then lied about the status of the plumbing inspection. Dan himself yelled and screamed at me, dropping a dozen f-words at me. Terrible company.

Never showed up for the appointment at 10 AM. Made multiple calls to the listed business number. Got a call back two hours after the scheduled appointment saying he'd call me back, never got a call. Reached out two more times over the course of 4 hours, got no response. Cancelled appointment at 4 PM. Waste of time.

Called at least three times most recently last week about doing a basement remodel, went to voice mail and never got a response.
