Century Hotel

Power got knocked out and it was freezing at home, so we stayed at the Century Hotel which is locally owned. The highlights were, friendly staff, extremely clean, allergy, free, odor free with a nice little deck .
I’m very sensitive to odors that I usually experience staying at a hotel. But the Century Is run by a local family. As I had expected, the room was in perfect shape, had no strange smells or allergens like most hotels I’ve experienced. It was perfect for the night. The heater did not put out odors that most chain hotel heaters do. I even loved the inviting decor which was calming after a stressful winter event. This hotel is very well maintained and you we had a chance to meet the owner Charlie as well. I love the design and experience of staying at this nice quiet hotel.

Outstanding customer service...I called during an emergency and Charlie made special accommodations for us in a second......no hesitation...."Come in, we will take care of you". The hotel is lovely, convenient, impeccably clean and tidy and the room was large and roomy. I can't say enough about this hotel and their staff!

The century hotel is clean, comfortable and convenient. Their waterfront rooms are so peaceful. All of the attendants at the front desk were very kind and gave great local recommendations. There was a bit of a mix up with our room but it was resolved quickly and efficiently. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful hotel with a very laid back vibe. Great location as well, overlooking a serene lake peppered with ducks. The staff are very friendly and freshly brewed coffee is available all day. Rooms are clean and the bed is so comfortable. I highly recommend Century Hotel and hope to come back for a longer stay soon.

I loved our stay. Extremely kid friendly with a lovely pool and great food within walking distance. I love that Fred Meyer was close so any of our last minute needs we could get quickly. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Great staff. Very nice rooms. Amazing view of a pond and stores. Very helpful regarding a late checkout so I didn't have to spend hours waiting for an evening flight

It’s my third time at Century Hotel. What I like about it, is that it’s very laid back, the assistants at the front desk know who you are, are always very friendly. I feel very independent, I love the conveniences they have in the room. Wouldn’t mind an electric kettle though. It’s exactly what I need for a long stay

A very nice hotel. The lobby has nice, modern decor also water, coffee and tea. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and fully stocked with coffee station, plenty of to and bathroom soaps. The view from the balcony was nice. Bed was soft and lots of pillows. Close to maybe stores, shops and food.

I live fairly close by, but this is a great hotel for that "I traveled far" feeling. A big step up from just a staycation. The rooms are nice, the staff is super friendly and helpful. Lovely views. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Fantastic hotel with friendly staff, clean rooms, and great location. Plenty of places to eat right here at the lake. If you're looking for a place to stay in the Tualatin area, you can't go wrong with the Century Hotel.

Ideal location in walking distance of restaurants, shopping, park and river front walks, kayaking and nature/art walks! Comfortable rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Celebrated with all our family - stayed here for our four day family reunion. Awesome! Thank you for your great service.

The front desk service was great! Super nice, very helpful. Both girls were very helpful with dinner plans, late night drinks and following brunch plans.
The pool is warm and the hot tube is hot!

My admin wanted to book my stay at one of the large chains, as it seemed too good to be true - $40 less a night and closer to the office, but following the advice of my coworkers that live in the area was the right move, the Century is outstanding! Very well run privately owned hotel. It is clear that there is very little turnover in the staff, and they care about the place. While the building is old, the furnishings and condition were outstanding. The breakfast at Hayden's is also fantastic. The lake behind the hotel is wonderful for an evening stroll.

The staff is friendly. The rooms are large and nicely decorated. The pool and hot tub are inviting. Even the coffee tastes good.

Very clean bathrooms, surprisingly spacious and neat rooms. Friendly and professional staff, free parking, Classic theme mixed with a touch of modern interior design. Descent balcony space for each room, close proximity to shopping, bars and a variety of cultural food options. No need to drive in traffic for dinner or drinks everything is walking distance. Nice cultural park behind the hotel and an attached hotel restaurant which I did not visit. This was definitely a neat find for me.

Loved this hotel. I always try to stay in one of a kind, family-run hotels, and this was one of these lovely unique places I'll never forget. My husband & I had a lakeside king room, it was wonderful. So spacious and comfortable, very quiet. Super clean. And what a view! I had a glass of wine at sunset and my morning coffee on our balcony. Just loved it. The parking is convenient and free, the breakfast is delicious and is included with your stay (at the beautiful restaurant next door). We used the pool and the gym. The staff was very friendly and helped us figure out some local wineries. I liked that it was only a few mins away from downtown Portland (where we needed to be) but a bit more affordable. Loved the park nearby (Tualatin Commons) where we took a walk after dinner and enjoyed the lake views. Highly recommend this place!

Absolutely the right choice for our event! It was the food at Hayden's, amazing meeting spaces, & relaxing rooms with a view that made us repeat guests. Their team took excellent care of us. There is just so much to say about what a great experience this was I had to write a review. We are already planning next years event there.

From the moment I checked in through my departure I was always greeted with kindness and such pleasantries. Your front desk staff, Robert and a woman who is pregnant, so kind!

The two porters that were in the hallway upon checking out asked what room I was in. It turned out that while checking out I had left my car key in the room. When going back up to get my key from the room the porter was on her way to bring me my key! That proactivity on her part really impressed me! She took it upon herself to check my room right after I was leaving although my room was at the opposite end of the floor.

I thought you would like to know how great your staff is and how impressed I was to have found such a gem in Oregon!

This is an excellent place to stay. The staff is pleasant and go out of their way to help make your stay comfortable. My room was wonderfully spacious with a great view of the small lake and the Tualatin Commons area. I am very picky about beds, and mine was perfect. It's also remarkably quiet! I will certainly be back.

I stay here quite a bit for business. The rooms are large and many have a lovely lake view. Hayden's (the attached restaurant) is very good and has a small sports bar, as well as, a nice breakfast buffet. Many stores and restaurants are within walking distance and some hiking trails are just on the opposite side of the lake. Staff is friendly. Parking is free and convenient.
