The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy

I switched to the Medicine Shoppe about a year ago and it was the best decision I ever made! Jason and his staff (Amy, Barb) - all of them - are ALWAYS so helpful and kind. Whenever I have questions they are there to help. They are quick efficient and they truly care. They are by far the best pharmacy around!

I used to go to Walgreens, it is 2 miles from my house and it isn't even open 24 hours. My doctor switched my medicine from a 30 day supply to a 90 day supply it would be cheaper. My Vitamin D2 50,000 iu I take 1 pill weekly. Walgreens told me my insurance didn't cover it so I paid $36.99 for 12 pills (3 month supply) out of pocket. My insurance don't cover it for a 3 month supply, but it does however cover a month supply. Walgreens didn't want to take the extra step and see why it wasn't covering it, instead they were pushing me to buy a membership that will make it 20-25.00 don't pay anymore than that. Which I did not buy what a Joke. When pevely medicine shoppe told me the price I was shocked 4 pills cost me $4.00.
To sum it up Walgreens charging me $147.96 a year and Pevely Medicine Shoppe will be $48.00 a year. I'm glad I switched.

I have traveled the country and I proudly declare The Medicine Shoppe in Pevely, Missouri is the best pharmacy I have ever had the pleasure of doing business. In less than a month, they have already knew my name and had my medications ready when I walked in the door. Non-insurance medications are more affordable compared to larger chains of pharmacies.

There are multiple pharmacists working at a time. So they can quickly answer any medicinal questions. Do not trust RXLIST, Drugs(.) com, or other online resources for drug interactions, ask an actual pharmacy. The most important resource the medicine shoppe offers is it's subscription to a very detailed -and accurate lists of side effects for any medicine. It is miles beyond Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, etc

I'm a 30 yr ICU RN. I know great when I see it. The RPHs are all pleasant and easy to talk with. I've had the most contact with Jason. He is knowledgeable and precise. If he doesn't know something, he's not afraid to say so, then research the correct answer. Each of the staff members are pleasant and helpful. I've NEVER had a mistake and I can't say that about the "big" Rx's I've used in my area, of which there were 6, and now are 3. Thank you for reading all this.

The fast and friendly the hours kind of suck that's the only downside that they will be everyone else's prices and you just cannot top that plus they deliver for free

This is the best pharmacy hands down in all of Jefferson County.
We actually live in Washington county and they come to my work to pick up my rx and then deliver them back, most of the time the same day, even if it is snowing.
We have a rx that most other pharmacies do not keep in stock because it cost so much and we would always have a difficult time getting it filled and would have to call around the different places to try to get it filled, often having to wait a few days with out it until their supply came in.
NOT THIS PLACE! THEIR ON IT! they preorder it for us knowing about when it will be due and we have ever had a problem getting the medication when we needed it.
They always explain thing and answer all of our questions. Their easy to get a hold of and their hours are great.
It has been such a relief working with them after working with so many different pharmacies in the past.
They are also very good with dealing with work comp insurance, and billing certain meds to them and other meds to your insurance.
I will never go with a different pharmacy again!

I found out Walgreens was overcharging for my new medication. They wanted $104, and this place only charges $49.95. Walgreens send the prescription here and I came and got it the next day. Staff was friendly and it was easy to locate. Took a while to get the medication though, as the person couldn't find it. Perhaps they need to be a bit more organized.

Kind staff and I’ve never had any issues. Definitely recommend instead of going to larger pharmaceutical stores.

Jason and his team are very knowledgeable about about any drug you may have a question about. And they will drop what they are doing to help any patient! Would highly recommend them to anyone!
