Great food and service. One of a few salad bars left in Minot. Flavorful steak. Cooked as ordered and seasoned well. No need for sauce to cover a great tasting steak. Wife had the Bourbon Chicken which is another great choice. Flavorful well seasoned chicken breast.

Loved this place! Service was excellent! Food was yummy! The salad bar with 4 soups the day we were there and a huge selections of salads, veggies and toppings. Love the chicken tortilla soup. Great lunch value with sandwich and salad bar.

My wife and I are here from Arizona visiting our son who is in the Air Force and I really liked this place. The food was very good and the atmosphere was very good as well. I was surprised at how big it was inside and we definitely will be back again for sure!

Absolutely love going to this place. It was my second time going and the service was once again outstanding. This time just visited for the 3 dollar margaritas and had some appetizers next to the cozy fire. Always a pleasure.

We got a Rib Eye to share and salad bar add on! It came with 2 sides. It was perfectly cooked and tender. They had Heinz 57, Yay! It didn’t need it but it is a habit for me. I am a dipper! LOL. Cheese curds were also delicious!

I'm a member of two different groups that gather here in their "back room" for meetings on a regular basis. The service has always been top notch & the food delicious. There is a large television mounted on the wall that can be used for presentations and an easel with whiteboard. I highly recommend Badlands as a place to host your business or social group meetings!

Went here to redeem a GC and turned out ordering more than we planned. It was well worth it though. Our server, Reko, was really nice and knowledgeable. Same with the staff on duty last Friday (May 21). Food was better than we expected especially the Badlands Sirloin Steak. Prolly one of the best (if not the best) steaks we have ever tasted. Spinach dip was really good too although nachos that came with it wasn’t. Sweet chili shrimp was alright. Pot roast was yum too! Choose salad bar as one ‘side’ for your meals coz definitely worth it.

Schaun was very attentive and accommodating. I asked for a mushroom and swiss and he made it happen even though it was not on the menu. It was great, the burgers are like eating them at home, buns are soft and do not overpower the burger. I had a side of broccoli instead of fries and it was the best cooked/ tasting broccoli I have ever ate. I would go there just for the broccoli. Nice selections and salad bar. The fried shrimp has a delicate crisp seasoning not an over powered breading. Great family place to eat in Minot.

First time here. Environment felt nice, service was good, and the food was delightful. The wait time for everything was reasonable. Prices are fair as well. I’ll be coming back here again in the future.

I stopped in here as it was renowned as the best steak house in the area. Did not disappoint! I sat at the bar.. Beer was crisp, thai chili shrimp were tasty, the badlandz ribeye was cooked a perfect "melt in your mouth" medium rare. Worth every penny! I have eaten a lot of steak across this country, and this is the next best thing to the upper echelon of steaks such as places like ruths kris, etc. Thanks for a great experience and an amazing staff!

My family and I have only been here once so far, but it was an excellent experience. Our server, Richard, was the BEST! He was so friendly and attentive.

The food was good. I ordered the Pot Roast and I really enjoyed it, but I have to say, the salad bar was my favorite.

Very cool spot! Atmosphere: rustic charm. Décor includes a lot of wood, a lot of deer/moose heads, and some gorgeous stained glass light fixtures. I went on a Wednesday night in June, it was bustling and busy, but still able to get a table quickly. Large menu of options to choose from. I got the Badlands Burger with fried pickles (instead of fries) and a cherry limeade. It was all amazing. Wish I had room for dessert.

Our food was great, service was great, speed of service was great, and it was a cool restaurant. No complaints. I will definitely go back whenever I'm in Minot.

Clearly one of the best restaurants in Minot. Service was great and fast. Food was excellent, and their menu gives you so many options.

It is not many opportunities I can write a review such as this as Badlands Restaurant quite simply checked each, and every box from ambiance, food options, and quality along with a fresh salad bar right thru to service in which olly, and each,and everyone there clearly you can tell were happy to be a part of the team there, WAY TO GO TO THEIR MANAGEMENT, AND OWNERSHIP as it clearly trickles down & shows!!

The food was amazing! The service was prompt! Ordered an appetizer with drinks and ordered main course when appetizer arrived, went to get some salad from their amazing salad bar and moments after finishing salad and taking a couple bites of our appetizer, our food arrived! Our sever was funny and attentive and very courteous! I highly recommend stopping in for quality food. Just remember, top quality comes with a price.

Love the salad bar. but when i come in the evning there is no soup. but the price is the same. why is there no soup fo dinner I would still like some then too. especially now that its winter lots of people would like a warm cup of soup to warm them up. Also feel that salad bar should be included in the dinner choices. $6 is a lot for a add on.

Need a different bartender/waitress in the bar area. She doesn't seem to care too much about her job or customer service. Love this place otherwise.
