Jefferson County Library - Northwest Branch

I absolutely love this place!!

They are huge and clean!

Their card catalog is all online now. You can search for any book using the Author, title or subject. It will tell you exactly where to go find it on the shelf. They have computers there you can use, for free, to look this up.

They have other computers you can use, for free, to internet surf on.

There is no fee on late library books any more. But I am curtious and still renew or bring them back when suggested.

I just seen that you can check out ties, workout activities, games to improve health, scooters and crutches, along with books, dvd's, audio books, and video games.
They have a large selection of comic books too!

I'm so impressed with all the new things we can check out now!

I had gotten my library card not too long ago, but today I came in to study and they have excellent private rooms to study in! It’s a beautiful library and is great for the community!

I love this place unfortunately, due to where I live now I have to pay to be part of the library. It's kind of rediculous.
But great staff, wonderfull facility.

I visit this library to write. Haven't used their vast book collection for my research - yet. Such a clean, quiet place.. I don't use their wifi,, though its available.. A number of activities and programs are offered - look forward to taking part.
Just need a safe place away from home where I can be reasonably undisturbed.. Every visit here has been wonderful. My Service Dog has always been welcomed.

Best library all around. The nicest women and they have a amazing little book store where bran new books are only 1.25 for soft cover and 2.50 for hard cover. I've been waiting for James Patterson's the ninth house on hold forever. I just bought it for $2.50! Along with a lot of others of his. Going back today! The lady in the book store is so sweet.

Love all libraries. BUT it would be nice to have a way to contact them no voicemail no email nothing. I checked out a book series read the first book got to the second and the pages are falling out. Wanted to let the librarian know but there was no way to tell them. Can't drive there it's Sunday and they are closed. When I called no voicemail popped up letting me leave a message I used Google's information for getting the number sorry if I'm incorrect but I tried. Also there is no way to email on the website after logging in you can receive messages but not send I noticed. When I searched for this branch no email popped up. Could be my phone is not functioning correctly and It is not showing this. But after seeing the response to my review I thought I would double check and still nothing shows for me I'm sorry.

Great place to wander around and find neat info about your community and upcoming events. It's cool to just browse the CDs, videos, take-home kits, and of course, books. The small bookstore at the entrance is also nice to browse.
I guess they shut down the cafe recently? That surprised me a bit.
The staff is always friendly and willing to help. I left my library card here once by accident and received a super quick phone call right away, so that was nice as well.

This place is AMAZING! EVERYONE was so sweet and helpful. There are tons of activities. There is an amazing genealogy room. You can rent cookie cutters here!!!

Mindy in the Genealogy Room was the bees knees! She was the kindest most helpful person ever! Really made it a great experience for me as I had never been there before and came to High Ridge from IL for the genealogy room. My ancestors settled there in Jefferson Co since it was Louisiana Territory.
Anyhow I really wish ya'll were open! I am back in town and would love to stop by and pick up some wills and such!

I love this library. The staff are always kind and helpful. They have a big collection of audiobooks, that makes my heart scream with joy. Another thing that caught my attention is the puzzle that they leave on the table for anyone who wants to come add a piece or sit there for hours putting together this puzzle. Oh and one last thing, I'm really digging that red couch that is available in the adult magazine area so comfortable.

This library is amazing. They have so many wonderful programs for people of all ages. Help with taxes through AARP for free. Storytelling for young children. Exercise classes for all ages. Plus they are part of a statewide library. If they don’t have a book you can put in a request and get it from another library in the state. There are separate areas for children and teens. Self checkout is easy or they are glad to help. Just a wonderful asset to our community.

Awsome. Always very friendly and helpful. Thursday evenings is kids craft nights this summer.

This place is great everyone very helpful. Mary @ resource desk in the back by copier, is the best. Very knowledgeable, professional and extermly kind. No question is dumb, she'll help figure out what you need goes out of box to help with a smile.

Never been there before. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. I will be back, and definitely tell my friends.

I love this library. I stop there often, librarians are helpful (especially Molly in the children's section). The selection is great, even if you have to order stuff ahead to get it from another branch. I don't know what I'd do without it!!

They have a friendly staff when you walk through the doors, whether you need their assistance or not.

They follow the Jefferson County health guidelines.

Not many k ow they offer notary services here. I was so lost in the process on the phone they walked me though the whole thing and when I got there took all the time and patience with me making sure we had all of it right. These folks care about the people they serve and it shows. Thanks to all of you

Great library branch. Everybody helps with any questions. Great genealogy section. Very helpful there as well. If you are new to genealogy or just stuck just ask.
