Liberty Baptist Church

This has been the most faithful church I’ve ever been part of. The preaching is helpful and biblical, and the people are kind and gracious. The worship service proclaims the gospel clearly and makes much of Jesus every Sunday.

This is a great church community, and I could not recommend it more!

This is the best church I have been to. The members of this church have a genuine desire to love and serve each other and create a genuine worship atmosphere by doing every single thing for the Glory of God. From start to finish this church is all about making disciples and making Jesus known in accordance to the Scriptures. You want to see a Gospel centered church then come here!

Liberty Baptist Church reveals all marks of a healthy church. As a first-time visitor during a Sunday morning worship gathering, I felt welcomed by church members and was encouraged by the solid preaching of God's Word. One of the things I noticed during my first visit was that the church maintains a comfortable environment that is welcoming to everyone. It's clear that the gospel of Jesus Christ is intended to be central to everything at Liberty Baptist Church. I would encourage anyone looking for a healthy church to check it out!

On my first visit with my wife the pastor greeted us and asked us intentional questions about why we were at Liberty Baptist Church. He then connected us with a couple who we were able to get to know and gain more information on the church. This church is led well by qualified pastors and deacons who care about the congregation. The Word is preached faithfully and carefully each Sunday. Though Nathan teaches the majority of the year other men are able to step in and show us Christ every Sunday. The Equipping Groups are a highlight since they help train you further to be an intentional follower of Jesus. The teaching bench is deep at this church.

The one thing that caught my eye was how many generations were represented at this church. My wife and I are in our late twenties. We have been able to connect with believers from all walks of life, empty nesters, single mothers, retirees, college students etc.

Church membership is also something to delight in here. It’s not overbearing or burdensome but joyful. I’m glad my wife and I have fellow members who care about our spiritual maturity and help us to press on in the Christian faith.

The service is great! From the music (both gospel-centered songs and done with a gospel narrative through the progression of the songs) to the challenging sermons. Liberty is a place to grow in your walk with the Lord. The community within the church is felt almost immediately by walking into the building. The childcare I have only heard great things about (I don't have children). In all it is worth your time to come visit Liberty Baptist Church in Liberty, MO.

Liberty Baptist Church is gospel centered and the members are clearly passionate about the good news through their kind welcoming attitudes. Every aspect of this church is focused on teaching how to be more like Christ. This is seen through the sermons, music, and even the kids' programs!

Me and my family moved back to liberty area in 2014 and was looking for a church that we could call home. We were looking for a bible believing gospel preaching church. We were not disappointed! We were welcomed in from the very first visit by Pastor Nathan and the congregation. We are now growing members of the local church with a local and global gospel centered outreach. My wife and I have also been encouraged by those who care for our child every Sunday morning. We ask him every Sunday about what he has learned, and he's able explain what he's being taught.

This is a Christ gospel centered church and that's the most important thing!! Also the community of people there are very warm and inviting!! Another great thing about this church is their nursery! The workers there truly love to serve in this manner and they take wonderful care of your kiddos!

I love how gospel centered the preaching is and how Pastor Nathan upholds the integrity of scripture every week. There is a real sense of love and community among the members which I've never experienced before. You won't find a lot of programs or gimmicks that distract from God's Word, but you will find truth and loving people committed to encouraging each other in the faith.

My wife & I have been members for over 25 years & this is the most excited we have ever been. It is like a family because we all have Jesus in common. The gospel centered preaching, gospel centered singing & gospel centered community groups in members homes. Which is where we encourage each other to share the gospel. Great place to give & receive love, mercy & Grace.

LBC is a wonderful place to be on Sunday mornings. All of the important things are done exceptionally well: solid biblical preaching, high quality and meaningful worship music, safe and caring environment for the kids, and friendly folks of all ages. The church is welcoming and its commitment to the spiritual growth of its members and guests is evident in every service!

Liberty Baptist Church is a Bible believing Church. The Bible is preached and the listeners are admonished to be followers of Christ, to be disciples and to make disciples. All is done to bring honor and glory to the Lord Jesus Christ. A great place to worship. Families and children are always welcomed.

Great church and passionate pastor. Nathan preaches the Bible clearly and in a way I can apply to my life. The recent remodel of the sanctuary is inviting and very well done. This is a top choice for anyone living in the Liberty area wanting to connect with a Christ centered church.

One of the things I really appreciate about Liberty Baptist is the true teaching of the Bible and the sweet community of Christians. So thankful we found this church and get to be a part of what God is doing here.
