Bud Weil Memorial Park

Great little park. Nice fishing pond. For it being in the middle of town it is very peaceful. Some wildlife will walk around the area if you watch for it. This little lizard was playing around the rocks of the upper pavilion when we were there.

Adorable little spot for locals! Nothing too fancy, but good for a quick hike or low-key picnic by the lake

I didn't look around that much I checked out the pond they have one duck don't know if I can feed it or not would be a lot cooler if I could though. It looks like there's a little building or something up from the pond I'll go back and check it out might take some pictures

I totally enjoy going there to just chill out. Very quiet with a small pond and a couple ducks. Seldom more than two to four other people there. Just sit and relax. Easy access.

Quiet spot to eat a take-out lunch. Much nicer than scarfing our Culver's on the car or at restaurant parking-lot tables.

Nice secluded area. There is a great hike from Preslar lake that has a good incline to help burn calories.

Nice little park with bathrooms, a shelter that can be reserved, wooded trails, a pond, and some interesting pre-park masonry.

Easy trails, clean, nice spot for quiet lunch. Downside is the restrooms not available
