Byrnes Mill Park

Super cute little park in a peaceful rural setting. Nice playground with safe and fun play options for kids of various ages. We love getting lunch and stopping by here to eat and play for a while. Definitely more of a "stop by" than a "stay all day" spot, but that suits us just fine. Looking forward to exploring a little more as my child grows up.

Beautiful park, walked along a bit of the river with my dog & we had a great time!

Nice place to see the river, or fish. No swimming or sitting in the water though. Byrne's Mill P.D. DOES patrol and check on the area.

Wow, love this place, great for fishing, swimming or just looking at the water, we always have a blast here, it was so nice having Byrne's Mill police stop by and check on us, making sure everything was alright. Definitely a good safe park.

You can visit for free. Pets are allowed. The other three milldam parks in Jefferson County charge a fee in warm months, and pets are prohibited at those parks. Swimming and wading are prohibited at this park. The river looks nice with the milldam, and there's a short loop trail just upstream of the dam. The old structure is interesting. Unfortunately some people litter.

Great park for young kids, mine loves the water!

I love this park! It's very enjoyable to walk along the shoreline and look for shells! Tip: I don't recommend going after anything more than a moderate shower rainwise, as the area floods easily, the beach is sandy and rocks, but the area can get quite muddy. Also, be careful of sinky sand near the mill.

River access to see a portion of an old home that was right on the river I guess that had collapsed a long time ago pretty neat. The park on the upper level and River access parking on the lower level small Park hiking trails fishing.

Byrnes Mill police do occasionally sit in here..

I like going here for some peace and quiet time. Beautiful stretch of the Big River and has parking withing 50 feet. Sit and park or get out and skip some rocks.

such a beautiful location and they got a new playground that I haven't seen ever before but it's been about 20 years since I've been there it's gorgeous peaceful and quiet.

Nice walking trail and park area. There is a playground and can be appropriate for toddlers. Generally dog friendly, nice riverside views.

Looks so different then when I last lived in Missouri. Way nicer , more family friendly.

I had a great time there but it's really not meant for people of higher ages if you're going to go down in the water

Awesome spot for the family to hang out. Currents are kinda strong, but the water was low enough to control.

Quiet and serene. Good place to come and just listen to nature.
