The Kolache Cafe

This was my first time trying Kolaches and they were very tasty! The smoked chicken and cheese was my favorite, the ham and cheese was good too. The dough was soft and slightly sweet, overall delicious!
Customer service was great and the environment was chill, also a nice place to get some studying or work done. Also WiFi was good! I’ll be back!

Located in the Ranch Cicle Plaza, this café offers, sweet and savory pastries in the traditional style. This means that they are not overly sweet and they are very European.. nice inside and outside seating areas. there are two handicap spots in front and plenty of parking and also offers a drive-through. We ave vacationing in Sedona and drove 2 hours for these pastries. We make it a point to come here when in the area. Highly recommend!

A+A+A+, I was referred to The Kolache Cafe by a co-worker. A little drive from East Mesa but so worth it! I ordered a 6 pack. 2 Chorizo, Egg and Cheese, 2 Smoked Sausage, Brisket and Gravy and Sausage, Egg and Cheese. OMG!! The Chorizo is Fantastic! Great flavor, soft roll, just what the Diabetic Needed! The Smoked Sausage and Cheese was delicious too!! The coffee is from The Buzzed Goat Coffee Company and it was very smooth with a nice rich flavor. Probably one of the best cups of coffee I've had. The other 2 were bought for my co-worker as a Thank You. I will be coming back for Seconds!!

This is a new family favorite. My folks love the way it’s so flavorful and soft (they wear dentures so this is important). They especially love the sweet buns with the cheesecake filling with fruit (and of course they’re diabetic). It all tastes great even heated up as leftovers.

I’m addicted to their coffee and the service is top notch and super friendly. I placed a to-go order on-line that included coffee. There were some desserts that were still in the oven when I got there so I sat on the comfy chair sipping my coffee as I waited and once it was ready to go, they topped off my 16 oz coffee that I just about finished. LOVE this place!

I've been looking for a Kolache place for a while.
This place is amazing. I ate here since they are better warm.
The chorizo, gravy, spinach,ham and cheese are mouth watering. I shared with my husband. He said the dessert ones were fantastic as well.
I'm going to try the smoked sausage and jalapeno next time.

OMG so so cute, delicious, and rivals the kolaches of Texas! Highly recommend. Sweets and savory, good yummy coffee, and very friendly people as advertised. ❤❤❤❤❤

The kolaches are absolutely delicious! I got the 3 savory and sweet box, in my opinion, the savory ones are much more delicious than the sweet but the sweet ones are also yummy!

What solidified my great experience was not only the food but the service. I had placed an order online and when I arrived the worker had told me that they ran out of some of the kolaches I selected but she had went ahead and put them in the oven fresh for me so that I wouldn't miss out! That was just incredibly sweet and goes to show the care that they have for each individual customer.

This restaurant is right across from my apartment and I love walking over here. The food is delicious, the staff is super nice, and decor is clean and inviting and the coffee is great (buzzed goat coffee from across the parking lot). There are several chairs and tables if you want to meet with friends. The prices are very reasonable for the various selections they have. They seem to have a sweet or breakfast kolache that would fit anyone's taste. There are a few outdoor chairs with umbrellas on the sidewalk but it isn't an official "patio" so I probably wouldn't recommend sitting outside with a dog.

First time there and was pleasantly surprised. Very nice and helpful employees. Clean and modern interior.
Tried a few of each type of kolache and was impressed, the flavor and temperature was great. Prices were also reasonable especially considering the rarity of this type of food in AZ. Would definitely return in the future.

Wonderful and simple. I could not choose so I tried a 6 pack of different ones. She labeled the box so I would not play a game of chance when selecting my kolache :) Friendly staff. They also serve coffee from the Buzzed Goat. Community is important to them and they help the other local business. Then a try. You will be back

Today was the day we made it to Kolache Cafe. We got there at just the right time. We ordered 1/2 dozen and a bacon cinnamon roll. OMG where has this place been all my life. Sooo good. We went with 2 savory and 4 sweet; sausage/egg/cheese, bacon/egg/cheese, lemon, cheesecake, Bavarian creme and cherry. We didn't see the apricot, but gives us a reason to go back soon. The bacon cinnamin roll was so big, we had to split it. It was delicious. The rolls are fluffy with a hint of sweetness. Exactly what I like in roll. Can't wait to go back!

Incredibly delicious sweet and savory treats. Customers, suppliers, and employees love it when I bring Kolaches instead of the typical donuts. Excellent place for picking up treats on the go, or dining in for lunch or breakfast!

Visited Tempe location. Great tasting pastry treats here. Love the breakfast meal options with coffee 😋

Would definitely recommend you try this place if you haven’t yet. Friendly service and the kolaches and so good! So many different flavors and always really fresh.

Wow, way better than I expected. The line could have moved faster (counter service) but they are clearly working the kinks out with staff and customers alike. The combo offerings were the perfect size for a meal. #1 is a savory or sweet kolache and a drink. #2 is one sweet and one savory and a drink. #3 is two savory and a drink. We each had a savory for lunch plus a sweet to split. I chose the bbq pork w/pickle. It was the perfect lunch portion kolache at 6 or so bites. Dad had the smoked sausage and cheese. Then we split a raspberry/cheesecake for dessert. All delicious. You can order (also in bulk) to go or eat at tables inside or on the patio. They open at 6:30a for drinks and the kolaches start coming out at 7. The breakfast savory kolaches are only served in the a.m. and not all varieties are available now while they get a feel for what sells best. I saw a sign about 30 days of free coffee if you download the app. They even have merchandise for sale. Hats, aprons, etc. Very well thought-out.

So nice and clean, much better than any doughnut place! Friendly, relaxed atmosphere with the smell of baked pillowy soft bread filled with Sweet jelly/cream flavors or Savory with different meats and or egg. Great coffee and seating area.

I purchased 6 different ones. The only one I ate was terrific. I don't think the others will disappoint.

The food here is amazing !! I came for my first time and had the chorizo !!! It was fantastic flavor and the dough is perfect!! Great for any meal of the day!

Bailey and Lauren are spectacular. Great service and even better personalities. The place is always spotless. Kolache Cafe really hires well!

A refreshing, open dining room and a very friendly helpful staff. The kolaches are as good as I remember having in the Midwest years ago! Both the savory and sweet kolaches are delicious!
