Phoenix Airport Rental Car Center

Very accessible, clean, friendly staff and lots of food option at the airport. It was a very smooth experience transiting at the airport. The rental car service is via train. It runs to and from.
Restrooms are very clean They also have a family restroom and a nursing place security is also located, conveniently we received our bags from the belt almost in no time.

There are lots of food options. Only thing I was disappointed by was the cost of electronic goods. They are ridiculously expensive had forgotten by Apple charger at the airport store. It cost $40.
I somehow managed and while exiting the airport there is a TJ Maxx just 10 minutes away and purchased a brand new wire for five dollars .
Downtown is not that far from the airport. There is tons of nice hotels to stay and lots of food option whether you are vegetarian or non-vegetarian or a vegan. There is apple of choices to select from for everyone.

Loved the ease of jumping on the tram to get to the Rental Car Center. DO NOT BOOK WITH NU Car rentals. They charged us an extra $31 per day and are offsite: you have to wait for a van for 20 minutes to be taken into the ghetto and then have to wait an hour in line- to be forced to take out their LDW insurance for an extra $31 per day.

Rented from a polestar 2 from Hertz. The lady who rented to us was very friendly and quick to confirm that we were renting an electric vehicle. The center is easy to navigate and get in and out of and the people mover connection is greatly appreciated, just wish it moved a bit faster taking about 15 min to get to terminal 3 and 18min to terminal 4

After having terrible experiences at other airport rental car places, the layout and ease of riding the sky bus to get to the pheonix airport car rental center was so easy. There were no 2 hour lines like at Disney World (Denver) or agents that ignored your pre-booked car (multiple other brands in other cities) . We waited less than 10 minutes and then had a fantastic agent at Fox rental. All other airports listen up - follow the Pheonix model!

Good central car options! The sky train takes about 15 min but is fairly easy to navigate! There are all of the major rental agencies here to choose from. Book your rental before because it was very very busy!

This place is the place to return your rental. Very Very efficient and fun. I had a ride all lined up and they are open 24 hours! I couldn't make it to my local office by five o'clock so I buzzed up to the airport and it was a quick drive up there's and my ride followed me I was very grateful. I returned the rental with a ton of road trip trash such as empty cups and empty candy wrappers and I said it's got a ton of road trip trash! And he said good! Looks like you had a great time and I did. I enjoyed returning my car here and will do so again.

The process to get to rent a car once you have landed is very simple.

Signage is easy to read and navigate through the airport, until you reach the PHX Sky Train; an automated train that transports for free travelers between Valley Metro Rail at 44th and Washington streets, the East Economy Parking area, the airport terminals, the 24th Street PHX Sky Train Station, and the Rental Car Center. Trains arrive and depart every 3-5 minutes and operate 24 hours a day.

All the rental car companies are in one building. Their courtesy was excellent. The price was competitive, and the car selection was reasonable. Pick-up and drop off very smooth.

Love their consolidated rental car center where it's a one stop of all rental car company and easy to pick up and return rental car as wwll. Love especially the sky train. Train arrived every couple minutes and it's very convenient to travel between terminals and Rental car center. No wonder they earn the title American friendliest airport.

This is a really nice Airport! You have to go upstairs to the train/tram to get to the rental cars. Or it will be a VERY long walk 😂. I recommend this airport and the train.

There are basically no body there. I don't have to wait long. First time of a car rental place that I can pick any car in the same class.

Process with Alamo was pain-free from pick up to drop off. The sky train was an added bonus for ease of transport from airport to rental center. Thank you!

Simple and easy. You get off the plane. Get your luggage. Follow the signs to the Rental Cars. Everything is well marked. You take a tram to the Rental Car facility. All the rental car companies are in one building. Like I said…. Simple and easy!

Extremely easy to pick up from a Turo car, rental and return. Will certainly be using their services again.

What can I say about this airport 🛫. It's huge, clean and not too busy or heavy traffic. I have no issues at PHX.
You get to see the Arizona Cardinals football team airplane too!

The airport was different and unique; waiting for the shuttle to take me to the Rent-A-Car was a different story. All in all, it was beautiful to appreciate Phoenix. The hospitality was exceptional. I don’t know What I did to have so many people look out for me, but I understand it.

Payless made my rental car experience very convenient.

Update: easiest in and out of just about any airport. The trains were a bit off on timing today and a little delayed but still a great system.

I frequent this rental car center for business purposes, flying into Phoenix at least once a month. Most of the car rental places are not very efficient and time consuming. If you rent from budget and sign up for free as a member of their group, it's easy enough to just run in and go straight to your car. If you have to stop at the counter at any of the locations, plan to spend some time there.

Easy in, easy out. Take the train from the airport terminal, walk straight to your waiting car and leave. Check out is always easy. Just as easy on the return. Parking for non-air travelers makes it convenient for other purposes and having rideshare spots helps, too.
