Mount Scott Nature Park

Great mile loop in a nature area. Dogs welcome! Tucked in a Happy Valley neighborhood with access from Kimberly Court, Grenier Lane, Solomon Court and 118th Court. I felt like entering from 118th court had the best non-intrusive parking and visible path opening. Gravel, grass and dirt terrain with a moderate amount of hills.

There's a really nice trail here however it gets really steep out of the switch backs. Last week they were very kind gentleman wheeling gravel down the trail to make it safer for all of us. I couldn't imagine having to be the person with a wheelbarrow full of gravel going down that trail and bringing it back up.

We like this park for its wide, shaded trails that aren't overly long... walk it with our pups. It is on leash only and please follow the rules, this is a more urban trail although it feels quite forest'y when you're on it. Only a few intermittent house views.

Beautiful place to adventure

This is a great place to take a beginner hike. It's an easy well maintained trail. There are allot of rocks on the way up if you enter through the Mather Rd trail head. Important to note dogs are NOT allowed on the trails! You can view deer, rabbits, birds, squirrels and I have found a couger track and fox fur.

What a great name for a park. That being said it is a lovely and peaceful place to spend some quite time or to take a stroll , slow down for a wee bit and put the rat race behind you. Take a deep breath of fresh air and you will know what I mean. Be happy in a park with a great name.

Easy trail. Well maintained

Not for parents with strollers though, terain is to steep and rough, but for someone or people that want to just go for a nice hike. The views are beautiful.

A great place to be outside and hopefully enjoy the nature that's around you. I would definitely recommend... 👍

Lovely 1.1 mile loop, 2 old 50s cars are down in the ravine, it's a slight scramble down but I saw 5 yr olds do it while there :)

A hidden gem in Happy Valley. Hiking trails, flowers, and a couple old abandoned vehicles. What more could you want. Ample street parking at all the trailheads.

They have great trails for semi easy hiking/walking.

Fun little hiking park surrounded by houses but secluded at the same. Enjoyed the loop 😊

A place to go to do breathe. Keep eyes on your children though easy place for a predidor to lurck
