We walked the blue heron trail. Was lovely, flat, paved, and wide enough for people to pass others, with their dogs, safely. There were people biking on the trail as well as walking. Park was clean and the lake views were very relaxing

Beautiful park with paved path that goes by the lake. Great playground too!

This place is great! Not as crowded as creve coure lake because there's no kayak rental here, so no kids only serious kayakers lol. Beautiful lake. We even saw a bald eagle and its nest! There was a heron fishing. I had a great time and will definitely be going back soon! There are two places to put in and we didn't even make it all the way around the lake so its plenty big.

A great yet little known park. Love kayaking on the lake and riding on the many trails.

I've enjoyed this park a few times in the past and really enjoyed that it's large with big green areas, the lake is gorgeous to just sit and enjoy and they do have a pavilion and a playground.

Most recently I came here specifically because they have a short, well shaded, flat walking path. It's paved and wide and amazing! The basic path it just about a mile and you can go from one parking lot to the other/boat ramp. This short path was very relaxing and mainly wooded with some peeks through to the lake. They also have more extensive bike paths for the bike riders.

I highly recommend this for a nice walking path or a get together in the park.

Smaller park. But, really nice and clean. Easy access to the lake for a lot of water activities. Nice pavilion for get-together. Nice playground. Not too much, really, for toddler age kids. Bathrooms were very clean.

I've been going there for over twenty-two years and enjoy the amazing fishing! Beautiful scenery and about everything nature has to offer! Also connects paths to Meramec Greenway!

The park is well maintained and has two trails by a beautiful lake. You can bring your non-motorized floatation device and set sail in the waters or even go fishing if have the equipment and a license. Beware though, there are warnings out there saying the waters have been infested with Asian carp, although I'm not sure why it's all bad. I've never fished on this continent nor have I researched enough on this topic. May I should.

The park is beautiful and has a tiny play area for the kids too. Swing by for a nice picnic sometime and you'll like your time there.

Has concrete boat ramp and beach put in. I think only trolling motors are allowed, good fishing. Used to be a sand quarry.

Love to kayak here. If you have your own boat be sure to check out the boat ramp on the other side of the lake. Fishing is great here.

Very impressed with the eagles nest, the very sweet couple that allowed my son& I to view the baby eagles through their lens; the views of the lake especially as sun going down.
Reminds me of what we used to do in Naples,Fl all the time; before moving back here.
Was not quite the beach near the beautiful ocean, but just being out in the nature; hearing all the different sounds& flow of water.
Will fish here.

Another beautiful park. The lake was much bigger than I pictured. The small playground was perfect for our son. No swings though..
