This place is absolutely lovely! The room was gorgeously decorated and we LOVED the pillows! Their complimentary breakfast is yummy and the ladies that we met in the office were a joy to chat with! They have menus for most of the local restaurants there so you can sit in the office and find a good meal and anticipate the pricing. Oh! And the fire was delightful!! Will definitely be coming back!!

I have NEVER stayed at a more friendly and welcoming Inn. The owner Frank has really spared no expense at making the inside dining room a work of art with all kinds of cool items to see, feel, and plain old be neat to look at. The breakfast was wonderful and had a nice selection. There was plenty of food and seating. It was from 0800-0900am. The actual room that I stayed in was just fine. The two beds and a small refrig and a hot shower were just what was needed. It is not a luxury place at all, but it was clean and functional and that works for me. At dusk every day the management lights a fire outdoors and supplies marshmallows and skewers. It was a very positive experience. I recommend and would stay there again.

Very comfortable room and bed. The owners are very accommodating just ask them what you need. They also serve a limited breakfast on the weekends.

This is a historic hotel in the heart of Hermann. It's quaint, and very comfortable. Most of all the owners are so friendly and personable. And if you stay here don't miss out on their breakfast! Big kudos to the chef! It is also within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and winery's!

We loved our stay. The room we stayed in and the office where breakfast was served were so cozy and made you feel at home. The staff is so friendly and helpful. We were warned when we booked about the stairs going up to our room being small and steep so that was upfront but they were not joking. The stairs going up to room 19 were very steep, more than what was expected. The room itself we enjoyed though, it had a covered private balcony that overlooked market street, which was a nice suprise and we enjoyed it. The location was also great. We would stay again when we go back to Hermann.

This place was amazing. Me and buddy went on a bike trip on the trail, and needed an emergency place to crash in for the night. They we the only ones with availability and took us in. The rooms were on the older side, but I really could care less about that. The breakfast in the morning was awesome. The staff was extremely friendly, and extremely helpful. Definitely recommend this place, and Hermann in general as a place to stay.

Outstanding staff and decor. Our room was a wonderful stay. Not at all updated, just perfect. Great night sleep!! The little window AC worked fine even at 98 °. Frank and Ava absolutely made breakfast like you are at home. There are so many places to stay in Hermann, but this is where we will return

Very welcoming staff
and the room was large. They offered breakfast as well. It reminded me of staying at my Grandma's house. A little step back in time. Great location.

Best place! So cute, clean and cozy. Staff is top notch..friendly and accommodating. Won't stay anywhere else for future trips to Hermann. I read a few low reviews beforehand about the breakfast...we were really thankful for a real breakfast...not powdered eggs and carbs. Eva is the best!

I will admit, when my parents decided to make a stop in Hermann, MO for a night's rest on our road trip home from a wedding in Chicago (They have had a couple of weekend wine trips there and will not stop talking about it)... being a city girl, I was skeptical...And then they gave me the task to find a place to stay. Every B&B and hotel was either booked or over priced, and then I found the last two available rooms in town at Harbor Haus. When we showed up to check in, Debbie at the front desk offered us the 3rd floor suite at no extra charge, and I'm so glad she did! We pretty much had our own apartment on the top floor of a mid 1800s building, and the heart and soul of Hermann coursed through that space. It was so eclectic and awesome... and so clean and comfortable! Debbie invited us to come sit by the fire outside after we grabbed some dinner, because there would be marshmallows to roast (my daughter was super excited about that) and even called me to make sure our room wasn't too hot! Once we got back to the Inn, we sat around the fire and chatted with some of the guests and had a great time. The bed was so comfortable and I have to admit, that was one of the best sleeps I've had on the road! (I'm a flight attendant and that says a lot!)... and breakfast was included! At breakfast, we got to meet Frank, the owner, and I really enjoyed hearing my dad and Frank share their stories of their parent's immigration to the US from Germany. Hermann is a really cool little town, and Harbor Haus is an absolute gem. I am still smiling from the experience. I look forward to my next visit! Thank you, Harbor Haus! <3

After a bad experience somewhere else in Hermann my 10 friends and I needed a place to stay quickly. Harbor Haus was more than accommodating and very friendly. Immediately the Bride to be and everyone else felt at home and comfortable. Their houses make you feel safe and they have plenty of sleeping areas! They were also right next to the Trolley stop and a walking distance from lots of places to shop, eat, and drink. If we are every back in Hermann we will be staying here! Also breakfast included was a major plus!!

Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The rooms are outdated but very comfortable and well kept. It is located in a great spot and just steps away from everything. We will definitely stay here again. Breakfast is the only negative we really have. It was delicious but it was the same thing every morning and we would have liked a variety.

Harbor Haus is delightful. Staff very friendly and went out of their way to let me use a conference room for a zoom meeting I had. Breakfast is great. Perfect location to walk to cafes and shops. Easy to get to from Katy Trail.

Stayed for our anniversary. We had the top floor of the Nestle Inn. 3br, 1-1/2 bath, great shower pressure and hot water. Great WiFi and a/c. If coming in winter there is a fireplace also - gas maybe? The master bedroom had an amazingly comfortable king bed and nice sitting area. It was 2 blocks to the west of the main road so we avoided a lot of noise and had a peaceful night. We weren’t able to get moving on time for breakfast (8-9:30 served at the main office), so we caught breakfast elsewhere, but I would work harder to take advantage of the free breakfast in the future. The rooms were clean and tidy. One of the 4 rooms was made for dining with a table for 4, a small fridge and coffee maker. They also provide some board games and cards in the dining room. The coffee I made, after realizing breakfast would be missed, was wonderful. We really felt like we had been welcomed into a happy home. We even have the same philosophy regarding the refilling/reusing of shampoo and conditioner containers. I didn’t notice if there was any soap provided for bathing as I brought my own. We appreciate Jessica, Donna, Frank, and Debbie for making our stay so great. Thank you!

What a delightful experience staying with the wonderful hosts at charming Harbor Haus was.
We stayed at the guest house, felt so at home, cozy & comfy.
The morning breakfast; excellent...antiques and decor; a feast for the eyes.
Our proprietor, Frank; treated us as valued guests.
Will we return? YES!

Harbor Haus is one of the better values in a simple B&B. We stayed in a standard room. The room and bathroom were clean, the bed was quite firm, but still comfortable, and the four pillows were varied from soft to firm. There is a mini fridge, 13 inch TV, and a small fan. The room is cooled by a window A/C unit, and heated with a baseboard heater. The breakfast is basic with eggs (baked in a cup), sausage, pastries, and coffee. The coffee was quite good. If you want breakfast, make sure you get there between 8:00 am and 9:00 am, as it is only one hour (1-1/2 hours on the weekend).
Certainly nothing fancy, but if you want a reasonably priced room with a good breakfast, this is a good choice.

The staff at Harbor Haus were super helpful and friendly. We'd been to Hermann before, but didn't go through them. They we're more than willing to assist. They had breakfast for us each morning, and even brought a grill to the house so we could grill for the evening. It was a great experience.

Enjoyed a two night stay in East #12 Suite for our 20th Wedding Anniversary. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was good and fun to eat with fellow guests. Had a bottle of wine in the firepit area and roasted some yummy marshmallows that were provided. Staff was great! Love Hermann!

I came to the Harbor Haus last minute with a bachelorette party of 11 people during Oktoberfest. We had a bad experience with another BNB and decided to leave. I came in shaken up and he immediately made me feel at home and sat me down with a cup of coffee. Frank was amazing and accommodated us right away! Frank gave us a group rate with the money we had left and upgraded another couple for free just to accommodate our large group and have our very own suite. We could have not have been more blessed in finding the Harbor Haus. He invited us for marshmallow roasting that evening and had a complimentary hot breakfast the next day. Everything in town was within walking distance and even the trolley stopped right at the Harbor Haus. I recommend this place to anyone and I will definitely be back!
