Pear Tree Inn St. Louis Near Union Station

Traveled with my 2 kids 9 and 11 for their Spring break. They had the best time at the pool and enjoyed the free breakfast and happy hour snacks. Mom enjoyed the happy hour wine after a long day of adventures in St Louis. Cheyenne was usually serving and I can't say how sweet and bubbly she was and just made you feel like family!! I highly recommend this hotel. Everything is within walking distance or a short drive. Doris at the front desk also gave me the number to some local cab drivers and that was so helpful. Thank you

I love this hotel! I'm so glad I booked with Pear Tree. Went with 4 adults and 2 kids. Pool and hot tub were always cleaned and well maintained. We enjoyed free breakfast, one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had (they seasoned the eggs 👏👌) waffles were delicious. They do evening snacks and a few free drinks for adults ♥. The staff were amazing! Doris, Reggie, Regina, Quincy were extremely nice and always helpful. They are a treasure to your hotel and deserve a bonus or something. The attached restaurant, sybergs was tasty as well! Location was walking distance from the soccer stadium, Union station (a must to visit), and a Starbucks, gas station. Free parking at the hotel as well!!! 👏👏👏♥ Food: check out sugar fire and Cathy's kitchen. Trust me.

Booked way ahead of our trip and the rate was very reasonable for a weekend stay in downtown st louis. The staff was very friendly. We were checked in within about 10 minutes. They have quite an amazing selection for the complementary breakfast. Our room was very clean. The beds were comfortable and clean. The on-site free parking was inside a carport garage. And the great perk is that everything downtown is pretty much within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I have been traveling to St Louis for medical reasons. On our last trip and our current trip, we stayed at the Pear Tree Inn. Each time, we have received excellent service. The staff are extremely friendly, very professional, and very personable. The hotel and the rooms are clean, and the atmosphere is very hospitable. Although all of the staff are wonderful, our favorite person is Cheyenne! This young lady is amazing! She goes over and above for your comfort to ensure your stay is delightful and wondrous. We will always stay at the Pear Tree Inn when visiting St. Louis!

My family and I stayed one night and we really enjoyed our stay! Staff were SO nice and accommodating. It was a true breath of fresh air because staff was that amazing. The rooms were very clean and the pool was perfect. We will definitely be staying again!

Nice place, great customer service. Comfortable beds. Room was clean. Breakfast was delicious and kickback was an awesome surprise! Close to everything and everyone was very welcoming. We will definitely stay again in the future!

Great place to stay. The staff is awesome. I was greeted so warmly by Quincy at the front desk upon checking in. He advised of all the amenities including the upcoming “kick back” that was included in my stay. I wasn’t aware of this and it was nice before my event. Cheyenne was serving the complimentary adult beverages and was equally as pleasant. She had the perfect energy for this. All the guests were smiling and enjoying her. At the free breakfast Dylan, the General Mgr was as great as his staff. Friendly and chatting with guests. We talked briefly and I was surprised to hear he was a fan of one of one of our local barbecue spots.

Beautiful hotel right in downtown with amazing staff & great hot breakfast options, I am a Hotel GM myself so when I go to hotels I really look at the hotel & this place was top shape with amazing, personable staff that just topped off the stay!!! Will definitely stay again!

My 7 year old niece and I stayed here to go to a ballgame last March. She loved being at the game, but when asked about her favorite part of the trip, she didn't hesitate when she said 'the bed!' She was still talking about how comfortable the bed was at our Christmas gathering. I like the family friendly focus of the Drury hotel family, but this was my first time at a hotel on the Pear Tree Inn side of the group. It was of course smaller and older than the Drury line, but just as clean and safe as I expect from a Drury Hotel.

I loved my experience here. I received an early check-in. They have free breakfast 😋 6-9:30am and happy hour 😊 5:30-7pm where you receive 3 free drinks....wine and/or beer. They have a pool and whirlpool.

I wish I could give service a 10. There is a nice lady at the front desk and she was such a joy. She took the time to talk with us, give us all the information on the hotel asked us if there was anything else she could help us with. (DORIS) You have customer service down. It was a pleasure meeting you. The hotel was clean the breakfast was good. They did have construction going on but even with that the hotel was nice. We will be back.

If there is a soccer game going on, they will use hotel parking! But staff is great! We had alot of interaction with Doris and Reggie! Excellent people! Food was good! Nice pool area with hot tub!

Rooms are a bit dated but other than that I would definitely recommend staying here. Great location close to lots to do downtown. Free breakfast was great and I was surprised with the nightly free snacks, fountain drinks, beer and wine. Can't beat the free parking either.

Quincy is the best employee he should get a raise or be a manager. We have stayed here twice each time he helped us. Everything is amazing at the hotel best hotel experience ever.

The guy who works the desk at night is great and very helpful. We have stayed here many times through the years and they have never disappointed. My kids swam this time and the pool was nice and clean as was the room. The rooms are just a basic hotel room but the beds are very comfortable, I wish I had one at home. So , if you have an early morning appointment set an alarm because it is easy to sleep in. They also have a well above average breakfast in the morning with many selections to chose from which is also a plus when traveling with the family.

My family and I had a great stay. The staff was very welcoming. Enjoyed our nightly beverages with Quincy. The check-in lady was so sweet and knew the small town that we were from in MS. The Rooms were clean and and everyone was so friendly. The only negative we had to say was the coffee in the lobby was awful.

Pear Tree Inn near Union Station is the gem you are not expecting. Located right next to the soccer stadium, it may not seem like much from the outside. What will be immediately recognizable though is the friendly service all around, clean rooms, and amenities you do not usually see in hotels these days. They have a sort of happy hour with food, wine, and beer available in the evenings. Their bathrooms are surprisingly clean and well set up even in a smaller room. For the price, this is a great deal in St. Louis and we absolutely plan on returning in the future.

Great location, free parking, comfy beds, clean rooms and bathrooms, quiet rooms, great customer service. We unknowingly came on a soccer game night and the field is across the street. The front desk ladies (Kynnedi and Cheyenne) were dealing with a lot of people all at once but still made sure everyone was taken care of like they were the only ones there. We had a lot of questions and needed help finding a parking spot that could accommodate a van and little trailer and they went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I really appreciated that. :) Great experience. Would totally choose to stay here again.

My husband and I are on a road trip celebrating our 42nd wedding anniversary. We decided we wanted to view the Gateway Arch so I jumped online and found this gem! Oh my! From the moment I walked into the lobby I was treated with the highest respect. Quincy at the front desk is absolutely the best person I have ever had at the front desk of any hotel. We got our keycards and got on the elevator to go to our room. Then it hit me I remembered seeing a negative review about the condition of a room, Yes this was the room we were given. As I entered the room I was highly surprised at the condition of the room. It was prefect! Charla did an excellent job in cleaning the room. The beds, oh yes let's talk about the beds, I have never been as comfortable as I was in that bed (not since I had to give up my waterbed anyway). I was asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow and I didn't move all night. Which in itself is amazing because I have RLS and have to move my legs a lot at night, well not last night! Breakfast was so good. Pretty much anything you could ask for. Everything was the temperature it should be and the area was very clean. Check out was easy. The hotel is being renovated so there was noise at certain times. My only complaint is that we can not clone Quincy and have him at every front desk during our trip!

First time visiting the area and I was very happy with the hotel! Good location. Friendly staff. Free parking under cover. Clean rooms with a great view. Shout out to Reggie behind the front desk. Very helpful in answering questions and providing suggestions. He was also extremely fun to talk with!
