Greenwood Laboratory School Missouri State

Full disclosure: I am a Greenwood Graduate. I also have two sons at Greenwood, one in high school and one in middle, and they have both attended since Kindergarten. We are extremely satisfied with our experience at Greenwood, and while no school or experience is perfect the pros have greatly outweighed any cons.

As for previous comments, we are attentive parents and have noticed almost no bullying or problems with people from various "classes" fitting in. Many of us choose to do without other things to put our resources toward this setting for the benefit of our kids; it is not a school for the "rich" and I would venture that it suffers less from bullying or cliquishness than most other schools.

Full disclosure, I am a senior at Greenwood. This is not a school for everyone, the sports culture is not comparable to the fan sections for other schools in the area. To fully experience Greenwood students need to be willing to push themselves. The ability to take college classes as a college student throughout high school is one that allows academic curiosity and discovery. There is a true schism between people who care a lot about academics and those who don't quite so much, but if you are willing to work Greenwood produces results. In the past 10 years, graduates have gone on to Stanford, CalTech, Georgia Tech, Emory, WashU and many other great schools. I was recently accepted into one of the best schools in the country, the University of Chicago, and I do not think I would be the same person if I hadn't attended Greenwood.

Excellent school, excellent teachers and top notch learning environment! All the staff and teachers are very helpful.

تجربة رائعة ومميزة بالنسبة لي في هذه المدرسة الجميلة قضيت فيها شهرين كاملة من المتعة والفائدة وكانت مشرفتي جنيفر على درجة عالية من الخلق والتعامل الحسن ،طيلة مدة برنامج خبرات كانت تقدم المساعدة ودائما بابتسامة جميلة وتفاني كبير جدا جدا .محظوظ من يكون تدريبه في هذه المدرسة الجميلة والتي تختلف عن باقي مدارس springfield الجميع متعاون خصوصا معلمة العلوم مس كوري..... لحظات جميلة ذهبت وبقي أثرها الجميل والذي يجعلني اكتب هذه الكلمات البسيطة في حق هذه المدرسة فشكرا للجميع .

Not good at all. Only thinks about money and kids are rude, they do not know how to make friendship with middle class family kids. If some kids are academically smart but not came from reach family then wealthy kids behave with that kid not nicely. they love bullying.

WHY ARE PRIVATE SCHOOLS ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN SPORTS WITH PUBLIC SCHOOLS? IT IS TOUGH ENOUGH FOR KIDS TO COMPETE LOCALLY WITHOUT HAVING TO PLAY HAND PICKED RECRUITED TEAMS.
