2nd time here. Love it and cant beat the price!

Front desk staff (name starts with M) is super nice! Helped us switch a few things... and gave us check in hello bag with coupons and other goodies.

Room (2 queen with kitchenette) is great for 3 of us. Its clean and as far as motels goes A+!.

We had a wonderful experience at Sifting Sands. My mom and I went on a trip together and it was both pleasurable and memorable. The staff was so friendly and very accommodating. They even recommended some places to go. The room was adorable with great decor and there was a kitchenette with a dishwasher and oven included. We couldn’t believe how much storage and hooks we had in the room. We immediately felt comfortable and at home. Very convenient location near Asbury Avenue shopping and the boardwalk. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Great trip! We arrived early and they let us use the beach tags and parking while we waited for them to finish our room! Staff was so friendly and accommodating! The rooms were small but #31 had an awesome set up and was modern with cute little beach signs! We would absolutely stay here again!

We wanted to surprise the kids and just stay somewhere down the shore for a night. This place was the best. Great staff and room had everything we needed. Heated pool. We never had to move the car. Everything is in walking distance. It was nice feeling welcomed.

My husband and I stayed at Sifting Sands Motel for our first time and were warmly greeted by a friendly staff with a great sense of humor. We immediately felt welcome and at home. The manager, a lovely woman named Gene, took the time to talk to us about local eateries and make recomendations.

The property is owned by a condominium association and each room is individually owned. We stayed in # 33, a newly renovated room with a brand new mattress that was like heaven to sleep on. The room was simple, clean and beachy and one of the features we loved was the ability to open windows in the front and back of the room to allow a delicious, refreshing ocean breeze to come through. Amenities included a kitchenette with small refrigerator, 2 burner stove, coffee maker, toaster and microwave. The bathroom had a cabinet and shelves next to the sink to accommodate all our toiletries. We did have a problem with one of our lamps, but the owner happened to be on the premises that day and swapped it out immediately.

The motel was quiet and we slept peacefully without any disturbances. There is a heated pool (82°), and the location was fantastic, just a block and a half from the boardwalk, close to the music pier. The rates were the best in the area for the days we were booking.

Oh...and we ate dinner at one of Gene's recommendations - The Crab Trap (7 min away). We went early as it has a reputation for the best seafood. It did not disappoint; our dinner was incredible.

We are looking forward to our next vacation here and highly recommend to anyone looking for clean, basic, affordable accommodations at a great location.

Absolutely loved it.Everyone was extremely nice,Beautiful room(granddaughter loved the mini fridge) room was well stocked with towels and everything. We parked our car and walked everywhere.beach,shopping,restaurants it’s all within a 5 minute walk..Very pleased and will be back.Thank you for helping make our vacation wonderful.

Stayed for the entire week and i loved it. It was a short walk to the boardwalk and Asbury. Beach tags are complimentary. The pool was nice but we really loved how cute and clean the room was. Our room featured a kitchenette with coffee maker sink and two stove burners (although we made good use of the microwave). The cabinets were full of clean dishes and utensils. Room service is available everyday. We had a fire alarm that was beeping due to low battery and staff took care of it right away. The bed was comfortable and fluffy. Stay there long enough and you'll begin to feel like a local. Wasn't our first choice but it was such a comfortable stay i would come here again.

I was fortunate to stay here for one night & able to reserve my room at the last minute. Great location - very easy walk to the boardwalk! The room I stayed in was clean & well laid out for a small space. I stayed off season so the pool was closed but I will be back to swim. The price seemed very fair considering rates around OC. I will stay here again!

We stayed two nights last week. While we had a standard, basic room, it was perfect for what we needed. Having the pool to cool off in after being at the beach all day was wonderful! We were able to get in our room at 11:30am and had no problems during our stay (party of 7 the first night and then 6). Being close to the boardwalk and food options was perfect. We’ll be back next summer!!!!

Took my ocean loving daughter for her birthday, first time to Ocean City NJ. Sifting Sands is at the center of all you need... 3 blocks from the fun boardwalk with ocean access, near North St with beautiful ocean sunrises, walking the beach, watching surfers, and near Asbury where all the shops are! Great restaurants that deliver to Sifting Sands Motel whose management and staff are second to none, with a nice pool. Extended our stay 2 times! And will return. Best is that Ocean City is smoke free 😊

Last minute stay spotless well appointed room by the pool soundproof. Decorated to perfection they took advantage of all the space every nook and cranny! The woman who cleaned our room wonderful personality very quiet street close to the beach thank you PS: Nice warm pool. Not sure if all the rooms are decorated the same but they should be because our room was really nice.

Love this place! What a great location, the pool is heated and only a few blocks from the beach. We have come here for the past 5 years, and are never disappointed. The rooms are very well laid out, and they have suites for all family sizes..This Sifting Sands is so welcoming and makes for a great summer vacation!

This was our first time staying at the motel. It was amazing. When we first got there we realized that we booked it wrong. The staff was very accommodating to make it correct.(it was our error , not thiers). The room was fresh and clean. Anything we needed (Xtra blankets), was available to us. We parked our car on Weds night and did not have to move it until Friday when we checked out! Everything is within walking distance! Air conditioning was perfect! And free beach tags! Room were cleaned every morning. I wish I remembered our housekeeper name, she was our "go to girl". Yes I saw someone say the building was older and needed some repair. I see it as welcoming and comfortable. Any repairs needed were minimal and not a problem at Al...normal wear and tear. It was great for the money and convenience! Thank you staff!

Very nice stay at a conveniently located motel. Just a quick walk to the beach and the boardwalk which makes relaxing very easy to do. It has a heated swimming pool which is very clean and they offer a propane grill for their guests to use. The room also had a small stove, toaster, and fridge. They even provide dinner plates, glasses, mugs, and utensils in their rooms as well. My kids and I loved it. I definately will be choosing this motel every time we stay in Ocean City and since it has become our favorite vacation setting, we'll see you next summer!

Staff is very welcoming. Rooms are clean and efficient. Location is awesome! Pool is great! Been coming here for years and the staff and rooms never disappoint!

Stayed in end unit (Room #50) giving us views in three directions. Aside from being "spotlessly" clean, the great location maximized our two-night stay. My wife and I really enjoyed our Ocean City trip w/our kids.

Great family environment and the staff is very accommodating. Clean shower and bed. Great distance to all attractions. We really did walk everywhere. And I love the pool, it's clean and heated with great seats for dining or sun bathing.

We had 4 of us and it was such a lovely spot for us! Clean and comfortable and adorable. Room 20 has the cutest throw pillows 🏖

Great location ( block and a half from the beach and boards), heated pool with various included toys and towels. Friendly staff , speedy check-in and parking spots that don't feel like you are on top of each other. Will definitely stay again!
