Neosho Beauty College

I had the BEST experience at Neosho Beauty College today, Stephanie and Melody nailed it with my hair! The exact picture I showed them is what I got, Jaysa is a fabulous instructor! Do yourselves a favor and go get pampered by the students at the school!!!

Excellent place. Had hair colored at another salon who messed it up and Neosho Beauty College not only fixed it but made it better than Expected.

They are STUDENTS!!! I love them!! They have to learn by doing. If you only go for cheap prices, you miss half of the fun! They are great! I live in Oklahoma and every time I am in town, I go. If you expect perfection and like an expensive salon, don't go to a beauty school. Everything they do is checked by instructors. I would recommend them alwaus!

Have a standing appt every wed for hair. Always done great. And last all week! Students are pleasant and working hard to perfect their skills. Instructors are on the job with tips and needed help for the students!

Great haircuts, highlights, and manicures! The instructors check their work thoroughly. I've gone here MANY times and pleased with the outcome every time!

I've been there before bunches of time's . The last time I was there was 2008. They always done a great job and listened to what I wanted. Great people great Environment 🙂

It is very affordable and they really try to listen to what you want and they do great work!

Daughter went in to get a trim today, the receptionist was great but the instructor that was standing with her was very rude. After my daughter’s hair was done the same instructor came over to approve the students work, again she was very unfriendly and rude. I would hope that this school understands that the instructors should also be setting an example for good customer to the students. The young lady who cut my daughters hair was very friendly and thorough, the owner needs to speak to the instructor about her behavior.

I brought my daughter in for a perm. Didn’t think it would be a big deal. I understand we are at a school.
After washing my daughters hair the stylist acknowledged how dry it was but said that she couldn’t use conditioner before a perm. While adding the chemicals her hair was soaking it up so they used a second bottle of perm. After waiting the 20 minutes the instructor came over to check, we both noticed and I commented that it didn’t look like it was taking. 5 more minutes they said. (What is 5 minutes going to do if it’s already not taking?) They bring my daughter to the wash tank. I notice a couple of weird looks. I go over and they assure me everything is okay. Next I look over and all instructors are surrounding my daughter. I go over again and ask what was wrong. At that time they told me that her hair was so damaged that it ruined her hair and that the only way to fix it was a pixie cut. Me and my daughter are in complete shock! She is 15 and cannot believe what had just happened. One instructor came over and said “obviously you’re not understanding, your hair is damaged, there is nothing we can do, we are not responsible for the damages” and then walks away! Rude. After showing her how bad her hair was by grabbing her hair and literally breaking it all in half! Me and my daughter are both about in tears!
Not one time did any one ask any kind of hair history for my daughter! Not once. Of course the student told the instructor that she did. Not to me or my daughter, ever! The instructor handled it completely wrong. She didn’t care. Did not feel bad. Nothing. I was in shock how rude she was.
I did speak with a different instructor later who offered for my daughter to come in to fix it. There was no fixing it. No pixie cut could ever fix what had happened. My daughters hair broke off at the scalp. she was the only one who seemed to somewhat care about what happened.
Everything “looks good”no matter how it really looks and this school is not teaching the students correctly. Just because someone comes in and ask for something does not mean that you should do it. You could always say no! Have they have asked the right questions this wouldn’t have happened.

Went for a trim. 1/2 my hair is gone. Oh well. It'll grow back in another 12 months.

Students cannot learn without experience.

Any drastic change to hair, expected or unexpected, will result in - freaking-out.

I will continue going to the NBC because it's a good thing! (and they need practice)

This place doesn't deserve 1 star. I took my daughter there for simple highlights. She has a spot on the sid of her head that is fully blonde. Then when I talked to the instructor she was very rude. Very high priced for very poor work. NEVER GO HERE.

I went blue and they didn’t even dye my whole head.
