Hometown Pediatrics of Joplin

Dr. Smith was my pediatrician growing up, and my parents loved her. So I have been bringing my daughter there since she was born and she is still amazing! My daughter has seen the other providers there as well, and they are great as well. I appreciate that she can be seen the same day if need be, and they are very thorough here.

I absolutely love my children going here. They are so nice, so helpful, they understand your concerns, they listen to you, they're just amazing.

The nurses and doctors are so friendly and respectful. We love how they have celebrated the successes and assured us through the struggles we’ve had with our newborn. They’re always so good with our baby boy. We are very happy with our choice in pediatrics care.

I love coming to hometown with my kids. We have always went straight to a room. We love everyone at hometown. It is the best office we have ever been to.

We have been taking our son Carter to Hometown Pediatrics since he was born 7 years ago and we have no intentions of going anywhere else! Shari, Jill, Stephanie, and their team are absolutely wonderful. Everyone is so kind and sincere when we visit and they are always able to squeeze us in on short notice when Carter has been ill. The new facility is also beautiful and inviting. It definitely makes a visit to the doctor much easier for my little one. Thank you Hometown Pediatrics for the continued amazing service!

We switched doctors for our infant because of being unhappy with our previous doctor. So we were viewing our first appointment at Hometown Pediatrics almost like a trial before we got too committed. But we loved it! The nurses and receptionists were so friendly. The doctor was very knowledgeable and relatable and kind. The decor was beautiful, the building was clean, everything was updated. We were thrilled with the service. Also, they have separate sides for wellness visits and sick visits, which we loved for keeping our son distanced from any illness. We are very happy and intend to stay!

We absolutely love Hometown Pediatrics! Never had a bad experience, they always get us in quickly, I love that they send us to a room right away so we don't have to sit in a waiting room with a bunch of sick kiddos. They are so kind, caring, and helpful. Definitely recommend them to everyone I know!

This place is amazing. I take all 3 of my kids there. The providers there have cared for my 12 year old since he was a new born and now take care of my other 2 children as well. They are great about getting you an appointment same day and are very responsive to messages. Each time we visit the providers spend as much time as they need to with us to answer any questions and get a diagnosis. They make you feel like family.

We LOVE Hometown. I have four young kids and I have never taken a single one and not gotten fantastic care. Each practitioner is awesome and can be trusted to do what’s best for your kiddo, no matter what that looks like. We are so grateful to have such a great place to bring our kiddos!

I love bringing my little one here, the nurses are great and our doctor is awesome! They are pretty fast and convenient. They always answer my questions. They have never not helped me with any problems I have, I highly recommend this pediatric for your little one's.

Everyone at this practice goes above and beyond to care for my children. The front staff is friendly, and has always made an attempt to schedule appointments that fit my schedule, the nurse have always called back in a timely manner, and have always given great advice. When I had a billing problem it was solved after ONE CALL.I've seen every provider in this off and they are all wonderful.

I had an appointment for my son this morning (just a regular wellness visit). Upon arriving, I asked if they could get my daughter into an appointment also. I did have to wait a bit for her appointment but was so grateful for them squeezing her into the schedule. We drive an hour to use this clinic and we love Stephanie and the rest of the staff! Stephanie is always so great with the kids. Very kind and patient! As a parent, she even builds my confidence, by assuring me that what I'm doing is at least on the right path. Thank you!

Dr. Shari Smith and her entire staff are very knowledgeable and so nice. I have been taking my kids there for 2.5 years and never had a bad experience. Phone calls and messages are answered promptly, their website is incredibly thorough and so easy to use which makes it invaluable when the office is closed and you have a question. I don’t plan on going anywhere else for my child’s care and highly recommended this office.

I’ve raised both of my babies at Hometown Pediatrics since it first opened and they’ve both now outgrown a pediatrician. I don’t ever remember a time that I wasn’t absolutely confident that my kids were given the best care possible. Their staff is always friendly and I felt as though my kids were being cared for by friends. I’m thankful for each and every one at Hometown Pediatrics!

We love the Hometown Pediatrics team in Joplin! Dr. Jensen is our daughter’s pediatrician and she has taken so much time and care with our daughter at each of her visits. We appreciate the wonderful care we receive each time we are there. Every staff member is so friendly and helpful!

HP is very responsive and I love the convenience of the patient portal to communicate with staff and easily access records. I appreciate the convenience of scheduling siblings together for wellness exams. The providers are always thorough and have gone the extra mile to make a lasting connection with our family.

Stephanie is so nice and has always been respectful of me and my Young family!! She shows great amounts of respect for us. Also I've gone a few times on emergency and just about all the staff is sweet. Shout out to Jill as well super sweet lady.💜

This was my first time taking my granddaughter here. She had a 9-month check-up. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and my Granddaughter was so happy with everyone. She even made it through her shot without crying. I loved the communication we had. Would recommend Hometown Pediatrics
