If I could give 0 stars I would. This is one of the worst long term care homes I have ever interacted with. When my grandfather began having frequent falls, and became unable to remain at home with home health, we admitted him here. In the first 20 days of admission he became ill and was admitted to ICU for what we would later discover to be sepsis from an unstageable pressure ulcer (that was not there at admission). We moved him to another care facility where he continued to go back and forth to the hospital before finally passing away. Death certificate listed his reason for death as osteomyelitis (an infection from nearby tissue that moves in to the bone causing death in 1 in 5).

I had a member of my family there for 21 days earlier this year and it was not pleasant at all. It appears that some of the employees are just there to draw a paycheck and really do not actually care about the people that are staying there. Some of the employees are hateful and very uncaring!! I even had to report one of the incidents that took place. If a person can possibly find another place I would highly recommend it. We grew to hate this place very quickly and even named it the Prison. In visiting with nurses as well as other people in local hospitals you never hear anything positive about this place. All a person has to do is just mention the name of this place and you get nothing but negative responses from everyone that you meet. It is really so bad that there isn't a better place for veterans as well as other people that need a place to go for a period of time to try to recover. Again I would not recommend this place to anyone.
