I had never been to Dan’s but I rolled in with my smoking clanking car on a Wednesday morning after it broke down on my way to work. They were able to diagnose it by lunchtime, order parts, and have it fixed before 4pm. They even were able to fix another sensor that had been broken for a while, saving me a separate visit. And the whole thing cost less than I expected! It was a great experience and I will definitely return here!

I took my car to Dan's on the recommendation of a friend after learning my regular mechanic was booked out for 4 days.

I was so pleasantly surprised.
Both Tabitha and Sherry at the counter were kind and informative.

Unfortunately, my Subaru needed more repairs than was worth the value of the car, but I was so impressed at how Bill went the extra mile on the diagnostics and did not try to push unnecessary and expensive repairs on me or just flat out lie.

I have been bringing my other car there and have been so happy with the promptness of the service and the quality of the service.

Fantastic people. Dan is often at the shop and communicates with customers, although this is the primary job of his shop manager, Dan has no problem getting his hands dirty to help out. Compared to most business owners this is extremely commendable. Dan and his guys genuinely look for the best way to help their customers. They also have a fantastic gourmet coffee machine and entertainment center in their waiting room.

All of my experiences at Dan's Auto Service and Tire were absolutely AMAZING! Great people, great service and GREAT PRICES. Dan does such an amazing job working one on one with the customer explaining what is going on with your car and what the best possible solution may be. They are so generous when it comes to pricing and everything is done in a timely manner. I have never been to a car service with such great hospitality and prices. I live in MS and every time I am in STL I always go see Dan because no one has taken care of me like Dan has. Even sent me a $15 coupon! Dan does everything he can to make you and your car happy! :) 10 out of 10 recommend.

My Mom lives here and I’m from Michigan. I’ve been taking my Mini Cooper to Dans for a couple years for oil changes. This time while I was here my muffler was rattling so I called Dan’s to see if they could help. They were extremely busy so I went to Midas (sorry about the “M” word) to get an estimate. They priced my repair and I called Dan’s back to see if they could get me in the next day. They got me in and beat Midas by almost $200!!! I Highly recommend Dans for quality, honesty and friendliness!!! They are Awesome!! 5 star service with a smile. Thank you so much and I’ll see you guys whenever I’m here and need an oil change or anything else for my Mini. Thank you again!!!!

Great service, friendly, helpful and do a great job.

I like this place. Fairly priced and the service/owner are nice. Apparently this is a franchise but this one is independently owned, seperate from the others. One time I went in for an oil change and they noticed my rear brakes were worn. I knew that already and was going to replace the pads/rotors myself, I even had the parts in the trunk. For the heck of it i asked what it would cost for them to install them and he came back with a price I couldn't say no to. We've been back a few times and service is consistent. They have a good system going. Recommended.

Previously, I had taken my vehicles to a big name retail shop (they'll get you with those credit cards...) About a year ago we had a big ticket item go out on our van. The retail shop gave us a quote that seemed very high, so I asked around and Dan's was recommended to me. The quote from Dan was much more reasonable, and I have been very happy with the work done there since then.

I like Dan's for a couple of reasons: for one, it's not just the name of the shop, I've talked with Dan multiple times about my vehicles. He is invested in the day-to-day of the shop. I also like Dan's because they don't throw the kitchen sink at you each time you are in for a repair. They let you know what needs to be done and how urgent it is.

I would highly recommend Dan's for amyone looking for a fair, trustworthy mechanic.

HONEST ! 250 MILES FROM MY HOME ! my sister was in town for concert when her exhaust broke ! 12 other shops within 10 mile radius quoted $500 to over $700 to replace - Steve quoted $230 over the phone then got her in immediately diagnosed as repairable ! Took complete exhaust off and welded fixed what others diagnosed full replacement even though system is less than 2 years old - worked on for over 2 almost 3 hours while she waited and charged $160 plus tax ! Knowing she was 19 far from home and without many options they did what nobody else would and believe me she tried independent & franchise shops ! Car was without power and sounded horrible until they repaired ! Car is still running perfect! Car is in warranty also but no franchise store would get to it for a week ! I am so lucky we were able to find them and get the service nobody else would give us

Dan's Auto in Rock Hill, Mo. has been a breath of fresh air when it comes to good, honest auto service for us over the last couple of years. If you ever have a question about anything Dan will take the time to explain. This is a place you can keep coming back and they don't try to start slipping in extra fees or unnecessary repairs. Great place!

Dan’s Auto Services & Tire has been my go-to shop for the last 18 months. They were highly recommended to me by another shop that didn’t have a welder on-hand. Dan’s welder saved me $$$. A week ago my ABS & AWD light came on and Dan’s fixed it for a fraction of the Mazda Dealer quote. And my car was ready the same day. Friendly and very knowledgeable employees. Dan stopped by to ask me if I was happy with my service. Needless to say, I have found my new shop and will recommend them to my family.

My muffler became detached and was making a terrible noise. I called and they moved a few things around and got me in right away. They called to discuss the problem and confirm the price to fix it. Very reasonable. Got it fixed the same day. Would definitely recommend.

Dan is second to none. If you want an honest and professional person to not only take care of your car repairs the right way, but do it with integrity and concern go to Dan's. He is contentions and his reputation is built on honesty and professionalism. He has diagnosed issues on warranty work that the dealership missed entirely. I seriously do not trust anyone but Dan with my car.

An Honest Automotive Shop. If they tell me something needs to be done, I just tell them to do it. We have been dealing with Dan's for years and ALWAYS have been happy. Great service from Sherrie at the front to the mechanics in the back. Big shout out to Bill for going the extra mile to help me out. You folks just ROCK in Rock Hill.

Dan's has been taking care of me for several years. I often get to speak with Junior and he is always helpful and accommodating. Everyone at Dan's is always willing to go the extra mile. They provide fast service, do the requested work and often give courtesies beyond my requests. They top this off with the best price available.

I have had several things done here. Bill has always explained what needed to be done and the cost. If there was a way to cut cost he would look for it. He has always been very polite and professional. Would recommend Dan's Automotive to everyone.
