Went for dinner. My wife had the Bronznio special, and I had the stuffed calamari Fri Diavolo both absolutely delicious. The stuffed artichoke is the best we have eaten. The place is small. Expect it to be loud and tight, but some of the best Italian food will eat. Mangia!

A really good restaurant with excellent food and Gina, the best bartender/host/server/joke teller in Atlantic City. Started off with escargot which were tasty especially with the Italian bread and butter. Got the special Veal Chop Parmesan which was probably the best parmesan dish I've ever had and the chicken saltimbocca, excellent as well. For dessert had the ice cream bomba and tiramisu, both very good. Only negative would be that it was quite expensive, which would keep me from going more often, which I would like to do since we had such a great meal, a fun experience and really good service from everyone at the restaurant. (P.S. Gina, thanks for ruining hot dogs for me🤣🤣🤣, -Jason)

As a native to AC who has moved out of the region AC has some delightful surprises, even for the non-casino crowd.

The concierge crew at the AC Convention Center recommended Scannicchios for a Thursday night post conference dinner. It was heartwarmingly friendly and the food was sone of the best in AC. Trust me I would know…. Long ago an old BF was the chef at Doc’s Oyster House.

If you are looking for a home away from home, you could not ask for a better crew than their Thursday night trivia teams. Fun. Relaxing. Real folks who are friendly and cool. Enjoy!! Pro tip they will be expanding over the summer to make more room for more fun with more people.

my partner and I visited last week, in the hopes of having a nice last minute dinner while we were in town. we wanted something special but local, and this was the perfect choice!
right off the bat I was optimistic about having a good meal, as the service was very personable, and the decor/music was just right. that was definitely a relief since it seemed like a slow night and that can sometimes be awkward.
our orders were spectacular! we enjoyed literally every crumb off the dish. the artichoke was as good as mentioned in other reviews, despite that not always being a favorite of mine. I loved the crab balls too which were such a beautiful balance of rich and savory but not too heavy. and of course, the milanese I got as a main was magnificent - cutlet perfectly prepared, and the flavors all so bright and delicious. and a nice change from the red sauce I usually order at italian joints.
all in all, I'm so glad we stumbled upon this place, and I hope to get the chance to revisit soon!

My boyfriend and I went here for dinner on a recommendation while visiting Atlantic City. We ordered the Shrimp Francaise and Lobster Ravioli, Limoncello cake, and were recommended a bottle of Moscato to accompany. The Shrimp Francaise was so delicious, that we went back the next day to get it again for lunch, this time with the steak piziaola which was huge and flavorful (came with a heaping side of linguini topped with a sauce so yummy it could be considered a dish in itself). Staff were sweet and accommodating. If I visit Atlantic City again, Scanniccio's will be at the top of my list of places to eat at.

We had dinner last night at Scannichios for the first time and we really found everything to be very good. Waitstaff was really pleasant, quality of food was great and just a nice relaxing dining experience. Great chicken and veal parmigiana. Table next to us were regulars and told us you never need to use a knife; but I did to avoid getting sauce on me (lol). It’s a small place but glad to find a local neighborhood place that I know I will return to on a regular basis !

We called the day before we wanted a reservation and they called the next day with our time. This is a cool, intimate little restaurant.
The food is fantastic. Fresh, flavorful, and nice portions. With a party of 4 the appetizers, main course and dessert was very easy on the wallet.
We frequent Atlantic City often and we will be back again.

Hidden Gem in Ducktown. Read about this in the newspaper and so impressed with the authentic old Italian Atlantic City, atmosphere and food. Had the calamari and shrimp fridablo which was delicious . The veal parmigiana was a large portion and tasty. Highly recommend

We stopped in for dinner the same weekend as a big 3 day concert in Atlantic City and tho they were full with reservations they welcomed us and found us a place at the bar. It was my third time there and the food and service was great each visit. I am calling today to book a party of 6, none that have been there before, I am confident they will not disappoint .

Ate here tonight for the 1st time, food was great! We had the Veal saltimbocca and a seafood pasta dish. Everything was delicious, and a good portion. Apps were also very good. We will be back for sure!

Great food & service. Amazing garlic bread.

My son and I had dinner here and it was fantastic. I am not an Italian expert but I do think maggianos and Olive Garden are terrible if that helps to assess where my bar is.

It is a whole in the wall with a broad menu. I would love to go back and try other things!

Hidden gem in AC with excellent food.

It’s a mom pop kind a place , but the food is delicious. They also customize what you want. That means it cooked to order. We are Italian and hard to please. But this is really old school cooking like in Italy. The atmosphere is very homey .

Amazing spot that's for the locals. Eggplant rollatini is a must!!!

This spot is definitely an A.C. hidden gem. Ordered lobster ravioli and the portion size was perfect and delicious. My dinner companion had Pollo alla Siciliano and raved about it. For dessert was limoncello cake and vanilla gelato. I will definitely be returning!

Excellent Italian food outstanding appetizers like stuffed Artichoke just like mama used to make, fried calamari very lightly floured and fried perfectly. Escarole and beans Omg. Sausage and broccoli rabe could not have been better and long hots stuffed with cheese and tomato gravy yes gravy. For dinner the Braciola was perfect and a special. Also Tender veal topped with roasted peppers broccoli rabe and sharp provolone was too good veal parm was outstanding as well the dinner entrees took a little time to come out but well worth the time finish off with lemon cello cake and tartufo for dessert and what a meal. Don’t wait two hours anywhere else on a weekend at the shore try this place you won’t regret it.

Stuffed artichokes (here and at the South Philly location) almost as good as my grandmother used to make. Traveled to AC just for one. The waitstaff very nice. Will be back.
