They might have been a long way to travel to, (1 hour away) but it was worth the trip.
They were the only place I called that was able to repair my 47 year old Akai 4 channel reel to reel recorder.
They did a great job. It was very expensive to fix. However, I expected that, but it was worth every penny.

I brought my grandfathers Fostex X-26 Multitracker, which would not stop spinning, sounded like a belt issue to me, but I was not sure. I called to see if they repaired cassette players and the owner, who picked up the phone, was very informative and helpful. He let me know everything about the process, how long it would most likely take, the price estimation, etc.

I brought it in the following day and I was greeted by the owner & an employee who were very knowledgeable on this type of stuff.

I just got it back today after a month or so, and it's running great again, no issues at all, feels brand new.

Overall, a great shop and great employees. I had a great experience and they are very trustworthy people.

I called about a cooling fan problem on my Samsung TV and Jeff was very professional explained the store process and took the time to explain why a quote without opening up the TV and looking at it was impossible over the phone. So from a customer service standpoint I give Jeff 5 stars. I felt very comfortable scheduling an appointment next week to get my TV fixed. I will follow up with a rating and the outcome of my TV service next week.

Explained to me in detail about the repair, fixed it, then even sat with me with the remote and showed me things I didn't even know about my TV! This place is a treasure! The place to go for vintage audio gear repair. Another place charged me $75 to tell me the parts were unavailable and the unit, a mid nineties Onkyo receiver which cost $400 new, could not be fixed. Thanks to Atlantic Electronic Repair it's repaired and sounds as good as new!!!
