Excellent place to go for local knowledge and supplies. Andy and the crew there are the best. My kids want to go there every weekend for fresh bait and to check out new gear.

The very definition of the awesome local bait shop. I started 2022 with no gear no knowledge no experience and by June I had caught tons of fish had a great setup of gear and enough experience to be able to help out other newbies.

Great bait and tackle shop that is locally owned. Staff is well versed and knowledgeable; they have great inventory and top notch gear. Being somewhat new to fishing, they took the time to answer all my questions and explain everything.

Great place to get the fishing gear you need in Brigantine! The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the tackle and fishing spots in the area! They can easily find the best lures and set you up to catch some fish while you are visiting!! Definitely will go back to this store everytime I'm in the area!

Sells fresh kingfish bait that works! All you need is some Fish bites and bits of shrimp or bloodworm.

Great place, great owner and great workers. Extremely helpful, knowledgeable and best of all, if your getting a late start fishing you can pre pay and he will leave it in their freezer for pick up. Definitely worth a stop anytime your in brigantine.

I forgot my fishing gear on our trip to brigantine and decided to buy a second rod and reel for myself and my son. The folks at riptides couldn't have been nicer !! They helped us pick the right lures and even directed us to a good spot to fish that was safe for a 3 year old. They also setup our lines for us after I told them I didn't have any gear. I ended up having an issue with one of the reels and took it back to the store and they happily and without question re-spooled it.

This is an outstanding establishment run by some great people. They also have very fair prices. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good bait and tackle shop while on the island.

Most helpful tackle shop I have been in. The guys in there were very friendly and answered every question we had. They were extremely knowledgeable. We recently relocated marinas and couldn’t be happier with the location we choose.

Andy was a big help to me it was my first time fishing in Brigantine. He knew the good spots, what to use for bait, and was an absolute gentleman. I will be back in Brigantine in September and Rip Tide will certainly be a stop of mine.
