Colonial Meadows Family Campground

We had a really nice time! We used to stay here years ago and the new owners have cleaned it up a lot. Great shady wooded pull through sites in the back- so relaxing with the birds and leaves rustling in the wind, more open sites in the front. Gigantic swimming pool, lovely redone bath house by the pool. Be sure to bring your own pool toys and a floating lounge or tube as it’s wonderful to float in!
Nice new kids playground, great hot water pressure in the bath house with such uplifting reminders! Kids enjoyed bicycling all over, visiting the arcade for air hockey and games. We didn’t bring our dog but may in the future! They’re very pet friendly but do have insurance breed restrictions. Very welcoming and clean family campground close to Ocean City beaches. Quick check in and simple to make reservations. We love OCNJ and will definitely be coming back several times a year.

We are a group of campers that doing every 2 weeks camping and we never had such a good time here. The owner of this place are sooo nice and kind the place is clean and the toilet and shower as well. There is big swimming pool and playground for children.
We really enjoyed here and we definitely recommend this place and we will be back 🥰.

This campground is awesome! It's our second time coming here in the owners Mike and Adrian are super friendly and go out of their way to help first night we got here last year it was dark out and they came and flashlights to help us back into our spot! The campground itself is kept very nice and the sites are good size and their dog friendly and we love it here and you meet some awesome awesome people. Julie😁

Great campground close to everything! The owners Mike and the super energetic Adrienne were absolutely fantastic. Pool was HUGE and I used it everyday. Bathrooms are older but very clean and well cared for. Our campsite was wooded and shaded very nice part of the park.
I would recommend anyone camping in the South Jersey area to visit this one, you will love it.

I have been a seasonal camper here for over 18 years. It has always been geared to families. Lots of wonderful activities on weekends for adults and children. Adriane is a ball of fire and goes out of her way to make everyone feel comfortable and at home. Mike and Adriane have worked very hard over the past five years to improve the campground and are continuing to do that, all while maintaining the emphasis on FAMILY! I noticed a review (Luke Guy) that shed a negative light and I felt the need to respond. Yes, Mike is very serious about safety on this campground. We as campers rely on his enforcement of rules to keep us and our children safe. Campers are made aware at check in that the 5 mile an hour speed limit is strictly enforced. When other campers have to correct those who are driving too fast, you can believe that information gets to Mike and he is on top of that!! Our children’s safety is the most important thing and we appreciate him taking it so seriously!

I am a seasonal camper here at Colonial Meadows and have been for over 30 years. As I was scrolling through the reviews I noticed one talking very negatively about our campground. I really was so sad to read his comments. First Adrienne and Mike are really nice people as with all of us once in a while we can get upset at things that continue to happen over and over again. For instance this past weekend while enjoying our family time we saw this individual driving very quickly and yelled for him to slow down as did all our friends several times at which point we report him to protect all who are here. We have lots of children here and some of whom are our grandchildren so it is very important that we all follow the speed limit restrictions. When we are asked time and again to slow down it can be frustrating especially for the owners. We love this campground it is quiet and beautiful and Mike and Adrienne have taken on a big responsibility when purchasing this campground 5 years ago. They are doing a great job in making this a friendly and safe environment for all who come to stay. We love having folks come here for long weekends and vacation so please continue to come. Please be mindful when posting comments as you are hurting those of us who love spending time here.

Had an amazing time at this campground. Kids loved the pool and the activities they have going on are so fun for the whole family. When you stay there they treat you just like family. Kids loved the foam party, to the dj with games, to the pool, and love riding their bikes around the camp ground. We will definitely be back.

I would highly recommend camping here for the weekend. It is such a nice and clean facility and the owners were so friendly. We really enjoyed our 3 night stay and would definitely stay again.

This place is a hidden gem. The campground is clean and inviting and the store and game room have exactly what most of us campers need and look for. The pool is well maintained and extremely refreashing. But the thing that makes this place stand out are the owners Mike and Adriane. They are so welcoming and care so much about the campus. The kindness they exude make you feel at home while staying with them. Bring the family and just relax!

I absolutely love colonial meadows campground. The owners are top notch and friendly as all get out. And talk about a great place to camp as you can see the super pride the owners have, they make sure everyone's happy as well. I just can't get the words to honestly tell you how wonderful this place is. Super clean bathrooms too. I will definitely go back for more camping. Love the woods too. They always have stuff going on top, both for kids and adults. I just can't say enough about this super great campground and owners too.

We spent a weekend with a dozen girl campers. It was blazing hot. The owners, Adriane & Mike, could not have been more helpful &
accommodating! Adriane's enthusiasm was truly contagious. It is obvious they love what they do and want their customers to be happy. We had a great time in spite of the heat. The pool was wonderful and surprisingly, not at all crowded. The seasonal campers were very welcoming and friendly.

Firm but fair. The owner has some strict rules that are regularly enforced but this makes the campsite very clean and generally orderly which is definitely my preference. I enjoyed the pool (4’ - 8’ depth, must’ve been 50’ long), wash room, sports facilities (a half court, volleyball net, horseshoes), and small playground for kids. Really enjoyed the site and had a wonderful time with my family there. I highly recommend it.

Wonderful "mom n pop" campground. They offer a fun arcade, large very clean pool, clean bath houses, massive sites and other great things including very reasonable prices. However, what sets them apart from any other campground we've been to are the owners. They are awesome. They knew us by name, even as we walked into the office, they knew who we were before we ever checked in. He took us to our site and pruned some branches to make the set up more convenient... At 830pm. Then all weekend as they were doing their chores or driving around, they went out of their way to say hi and check up with all of the campers. You don't get this kind of personal love from the big places. We'll be back soon.

I cannot wait to go there this year. Will be the first year for me there but did spend a couple of days before the season ended to spend in our trailer we bought there last ending season. My husband had a trailer here a decade or so ago till it went south. the new owners are awesome.. See you guys soon. This will be an awesome year!

A wonderful experience from start to finish with many pleasant surprises along the way. Everyone I spoke to on the phone and in the office was very kind and professional. The site was much bigger than I expected and the grounds were beautiful. The bathhouse had been painted and remodeled in a way that pulled together the rustic-ness of a classic campground with a beautiful, modern color scheme and thoughtful touches. It was only fifteen minutes from the beach. I’ll definitely be coming back.

They are the nicest people I’ve ever spoken too. I’m not even there yet and I feel so so welcomed and informed about my visit this weekend. They were so very prompt with getting in contact and patience and genuinely helpful getting the reservation setup without being pushy or rude. If you paid me I couldn’t say something bad. I’ve had some horrible customer service lately and I just had to write a review about the extraordinary customer service I experienced. Hope you see this review, keep up the amazing work!!!!

Spent Labor Day weekend here in our tent, great location and campsite. The owners are extremely helpful and really nice. Our camping pitch was perfect, with enough room for our tent and our boat. You can request a wooded pitch or something more open. Washrooms and showers are clean and tidy with nice little touches of shampoo and soap if you’ve forgotten something. Will definitely be heading back, great area for boating. See you soon guys!

Planned on staying the season and then pulling out for the winter months. Going across the United States. Owner is very accommodating and plans on moving me to a site with more amenities when I come back next Spring. I'm more than pleased to find this campground. Very clean bathhouse and laundry rooms.

We absolutely love camping here! Colonial meadows is an awesome campground in a great location. We went for the weekend and parked for the season. The owner and staff are very friendly, accommodating and take great care of the property. We love their pool and they always have fun activities planned for campers/guests which the kids love. I highly recommend checking it out. We are already talking about staying next season.

Was in town for a weekend Music Festival in Atlantic City and camped here during our stay. Great facility. Electric and water at campsites. Wash room with showers and stalls- always clean! Staff and workers are very friendly and helpful. Pool and game room on campground. Schedule has events and activities that occur during your stay there. Highly recommended place!
