AtlantiCare Physician Group, Primary Care Plus, Atlantic City

Dr. Howard and the entire lgbtq clinic team are a breath of fresh air in South Jersey. They are thorough, caring and affirming. The clinic shares a lobby with urgent care, and I think all these bad reviews must be for the urgent care because my experience with the clinic was great.

I love Dr Howard. They are such a wonderful resource and I’ve always felt so cared for.

I had the most unfortunate experience with Nurse Practioner May and the staff at Atlanticare Physicians Group, Atlantic City, NJ Jan. 2022.
My request for medical care and recovery from Covid was inadequately monitored via Telehealth twice in one month. She never saw me once during the whole month of Jan to examine me & check my vitals.
NP May inability to properly fill out my return to work forms, placed my employment in jeopardy and added undue stress.
Their response to my plight was was unprofessional, rude and lacked compassion.
This treatment is not befitting of a medical facility.
I would advise anyone seeking medical attention to go elsewhere as their patient’s welfare is not a priority.

The Urgent Care does what its supposed to. I would not recommend this place as Primary Care, it is shockingly slow with only 2 people waiting to be seen. I waited 25 mins in the waiting room, then waited over a half hour in the exam room and still hadn't seen a doc. An assistant came in a took blood pressure. I asked if it's always like this and they said yes. This is basically a clinic and not set up for Primary Care apparently. I tried it thinking it would be more convenient since it's closer to where I live but why make a 130 appt when you still won't have seen a doc at 230? That's not convenient at all, I have good insurance, it's not worth the hassle. You'll likely only see an RN or PA, if you have decent insurance go to a real Primary Care, this is basically a clinic.

Receptionist asking questions that she have no right to. Receptionist was very rude, need to step up there customers service. I will never go back there again. Poor service.
