Village Dry Cleaners

The service is great! I've had things with untreated stains that had sat for a long time and they were able to get them out. The alterations have always been great and timely; pants, dresses, and even jackets have been altered with such skill that the only difference after is the fit. I've also brought things in and had the seamstress tell me that what I asked for was possible, but that it may not hold up and advised me against it I stead of ripping me off. I've always been pleased with the service and care I've received from the Village Cleaners, it's rare to find honesty in business, especially to the business's detriment.

Tina is super pleasant along with her husband who have operated this Cleaners for 20 years.

I've never had alterations here but they are great with dry cleaning services. Great custoomer service!

My Daughter took her 2 $80 White pillows over to be dry cleaned along with her spread. When she went to pick them up the pillows had black stains all over them. (Attached pictures) They kept saying sorry we couldn't get the stains out. The pillows were NOT dropped off with these stains. They are refusing to make good on ruining her pillows. They held her items for 2 weeks before getting back to her at all 7/1/22. Who knows where they stored her pillows in that time frame. Stay away form this "Cleaner" for they cleanly care nothing for their customers property. If you take anything to this place, your items will be ruined. She paid $160 of her own money for both pillows, wasted thanks to the incompetence of this place. POOR customer service.

Resolution: Clean the Pillows, removing your stains or pay for replacing them.

Brought in my white comforter for a cleaning refresh. When I came to pick it up, there were black spots and what appears to be grease stains on the comforter. When I spoke to the man about the stains, he tried to state that those stains were there before he "cleaned" it which was a lie. Then he tried to state that the stains had to be there for years because he "couldn't get them out." This was also false because I haven't even had that comforter for a year and I keep my belongings very clean and neat. Before I brought the comforter in, there were no stains AT ALL. I just wanted it to be refreshed for the spring. The fact that the man KNEW about the stains, had me pay, and about to walk out of the store without even telling me is just poor customer service to say the least. Good thing I noticed something was wrong with the comforter when I got into my car and I Immediately returned to the facility to address the issue. Needless to say I got my money back after going back and forth with the man at the front desk. However, I had to purchase a brand new comforter since they damaged my old one. Never again will I go to this establishment nor do I recommend anyone else going as well.

I cannot express how unsatisfied I am with the service and quality of the work. Two weeks before my wedding I am scrambling, attempting to find a seamstress to repair the hackjob that was my flower girl dress. After the original fitting, I was told that I would receive a phone call from the seamstress. However, 3 weeks later, that call still hadn't come so I phoned them only to be told that the original fitting had to be redone and that NO work had been done in the three weeks it had been sitting in the shop. Thank God I checked. I brought my niece back and was told a two week pickup date. Upon "attempted" pickup, I was told that I was incorrect and, according to the seamstress, I was supposed to wait on her phone call to pick up the dress. Now 5+ weeks after the original visit. I informed her that I would be picking up the dress on the next business day, Monday. Upon actual receipt of the dress, the crinoline has jagged scissor cuts all around. The actual hem is majorly crooked and the dress was taken in WAY too much so as now it just barely fits. I dropped it off to another seamstress last night who was visible shocked that I had paid someone $65.00 for this.
