Birch Grove Park

Birch Grove Park is a great place to visit. They have plenty of trails to explore. Very beautiful place for photography. And a clean family friendly place to bring kids. No dogs…

This is a local park which is great for hiking biking. You can fish here. You can take your children to the playground here. We saw a blue heron on a trail and also quite a few Turtles starting to come out on to land. It's a wonderful place to spend the day.

We are so very luck to have this slice of heaven tucked away in bustling Atlantic County. Beautifully kept trails.

Great little park and playground. It's fantastic for introducing children to nature in a safe environment that feels a little wild. The trails are exciting for adults, too. Lots of wildlife from egrets to chipmunks to turtles. There are bathrooms, trash cans, benches, a shaded area, a playground, and plenty of free parking. This is a great spot to pack a picnic.

We visited after a week of heavy rains so we couldn't walk all the way around but we will be back in the spring.

I will definitely be back at this park next time I'm in the area!!! It was absolutely beautiful!!! And the park grounds are kept up very nicely! Also the softball and baseball fields are very nice!!

I came here as a kid & even brought my kids there when they were little & man has it changed. They used to have a BIG Cat living there & deer you could feed...but I still enjoy myself immensely. Walked for over an hour...found my photo book of the last time I was there which was in the early 2000's (because he didn't believe me & it was his first time there) & even he couldn't believe the difference

Small but perfect 🥰 💞 👌 park beautiful lake views water features in water. Lovely wildlife birds.great picnic spot small playground for fun outdoor activities for kids. Great paths trails just perfect amount for someone who is wanting exercise but not to much you can go all around the lakes fairly quickly...overall very visually beautiful...

Great place to come and relax, go for a walk thru nature and just indulge...

We love coming here with our littles and walking the trail. The playground is great and clean. I’ve been coming here since I was a little kid and they had a zoo. I wish they had RV overnight parking!

First time I seriously walked this park and fished here. The park is littered with beautiful bench's, docks and wooden rails. If you fish it is stocked with trout and also has Bass,Sunfish,Catfish and Carp as well. If you're a bird watcher it is FULL of wild life. And if you're a amateur photographer this is a HEAVEN for getting some great shots. Bring the DSLR it is beautiful here!
They also have a full set of Baseball fields that have a snack bar. They have a play ground for the little ones as well. If you are into fitness they have a Paracourse the runs the gambit of the park. and many trails and paths you can walk or run on.
I don't have a brochure or anything to go by but I swear I saw some kind of campgrounds as well. I was super impressed in how well the park is laid out and just how many different activities that can be done here.
If you can get to the park you need to take some time and enjoy it.

This park is an oasis. A place to get away and get lost in the beauty of nature. There are a lot of trails that go deep into the woods, with little streams sprinkled throughout. Kiddos don't like to walk? There are play and picnic areas for that. Love it.

Nice for some "backyard" mtn bike trails, even though there arent many can just keep looping them.

Probably my favorite place to kill some time in Atlantic County. Its a great open park for families, or just to go for a short hike. Its not extravagant but its a really nice place to hang out for the afternoon. Food stand and playground for the kids and plenty of different hiking trails to keep you occupied. Also offers camping which I am ashamed to say I still have not tried. For us locals who remember the "zoo" that once was here its a great place to remember your childhood. Fishing, camping and tons of events throughout the year make this one of the best gems in South jersey.

Stocked lake (permit required), great hiking trails. It's a small park in a pretty suburban area, so you can never get too lost. Not dog friendly.

Plenty of space and beautiful scenery!

Beautiful clean trails. Plenty of quiet benches and thoughtful trashcan placement. Saw some folks fishing too.

Walking trails are clean and marked, beautiful and gorgeous nature right there.

Stopped at the museum. Learned a little about the history of Northfield.
Always enjoy the nature walks through the park as well.
