Bader Field

I go to Bader field to attend the Atlantic City beer fest every year. Bader field is a great place for the event plenty of space, any event that you may attend here will be a great experience,keep in mind there is no shelter so if rain is expected be prepared!!

Different people have different party picnics at this location every time. Nice placed for alltype event ❤❤❤

Had a blast at the Ciocca car show and fundraiser at Toys for Tots! So many cool cars, great music and food trucks!

Smooth return with no line at all. This place was a ghost town. Hopefully for this Kohl's that is just the result of it being a Monday night in January.

LunarFaire at Baderfield was an awesome event. So many vendors and awesome shows like Diiiotima arts. The parking fee was high at $20 but we were assured that the mayor just could not lower the cost for LunarFaire.

I will most definitely love to attend more fairies when they are local to me even with the dust and dirt that seemed to be unusually fine and getting kicked into the site constantly.

Went to Alantic city beer and music festival. Was a blast..don't remember much other than I was constantly drinking.....might be why I don't remember much

Worked there as a teenager..Even met a girl...Good memories

I've been to a few events here. Lots of space, lots of parking. Good location. Looking forward to next event.

The Skate Zone is Great. Bader Field has been the center of controversy for the last 40 years, ever since they closed the airport that used to be there. It hasn't been maintained to well, because of a $3 Billion proposed plan, it has been neglected. Whatever they do, I hope it is the correct thing to do for Atlantic City and Atlantic County. It is one of the gateways off the Expressway into Route 40, also called The Black Horse Pike into Atlantic City. It's very important we keep first impressions noticeable and in a positive and encouraging manner.

Plenty of parking, AC police presence added to a safe secure fun filled day, family friendly, for many different events held here👍

We camped here one night for a triathlon the next day. It was pretty clean and quiet. No complaints!

Went to a South Jersey scca autocross event early summer 2018 and it's a pretty cool runway with a great view of the city skyline. The tarmac is a little weird in its current state because it's a slowly decaying old runway but it makes for an awesome autocross stage nonetheless.

I'll have to check this place out at another event but it's actually a relatively pleasant area even without anything going on. There's a decent little coastline with minimal debris/trash from what I remember and a bit of what looks like natural marsh land in the immediate area

Great event space.

I trained there with Greyhound lines and I enjoyed it, the place was very roomy big enough for the charter bus to get around.

When this was an "airport", we landed on our way to Chatham, MA flying 🛩in our Piper Cherokee VFR as it was getting dark, it was THE scariest landing ever made, we had to go around 3 times it was crazy, the direction of the runway at the other end was the Atlantic!! Was very thirsty for many many beers, stayed at a.fleabag motel and drank next door watching the Red Sox in the playoffs! Great times, great people. It was probably 2001 or 2002.

Nice day. Sunny with a light breeze. Race instructions were broadcast in detail and vendors had last minute items you might need.

This place is big as ever but a nice place to host an event

Bader Field was the world's first "airport". This is the place were the word was coined and has been used ever since. It is a shame to see such a storied place shuttered with it's runways "X'd" out, but that is "progress" I imagine.

Over the years I flew out of here a number of times, usually on the now defunct Alleghany Airlines. Atlantic City, in it's ever lack of foresight, closed this plot of land hoping to lure another casino right before the crash saw four close and one never even start to dig.

Now it sits as an empty field with crumbling runways, used occasionally for festivals and outdoor concerts. Such a waste
