LiL Saigon

We had a fantastic experience at Lil Saigon! We had a reservation for a party of 8, we were seated right away and our server Joe was great! Some people in our group were unfamiliar with Vietnamese food and he walked us through the menu with patience and humor! The food was out of this world and the portions were huge! We'll definitely be back! Delicious!!

The service a bit slow to get the food but I cannot complain because they were very busy. The waiter still made sure to check on us from time to time. They have a nice atmosphere the place is very clean and organized. When the food finally did come it was perfect. Hot, cooked to perfection and ready to eat. Sometimes when a restaurant is busy you get your food cold, or not cooked all the way, or the order is wrong. None of that happened they were on point and compliments to the chef. I will definitely be coming back. The waiter Joe is very funny and has a great personality definitely made it fun. I noticed They also do a great job working together on each others tables and that is great. They are all about customer service.

This is the best food in town. The service is unbeatable and everyone is really attentive and kind. The beef bowl is my favorite and is definitely enough for a snack to take home for later. The fried spring rolls are equally delicious! Get the ginger garlic sauce to dip noodles and beef in! SO so yummy. Don’t forget to get a Vietnamese iced coffee :)

This was my first time visiting, the place was very clean even in the kitchen area. The staff is very polite and helpful in making a choice of what to try. The food is very delicious. Not shown, I had the mango cashew chicken the best I've ever had. Soup scrumptious. Will return again.

Wow, amazing food and service! The staff were above and beyond friendly and helpful. My daughter and I loved everything we ate. Superb summer rice rolls, scallion pancake, and crispy noodle stir fry with steak shrimp and chicken. Everything tasted delicious.

Love the food. Our favorites are the vegetable rolls, grilled chicken bahn mi box & the generous pho bowls. All of the food is always fresh and seasoned perfectly. The door dash driver took forever, but it wasn't the fault of the restaurant and didn't reflect on their quality of food or service. Expect an hour and a half for delivery 20 min away. The kitchen is fast. Our previous experience, which was dine in service, was excellent. The server was friendly and checked in on us multiple times to fill waters and make sure we liked everything. The restaurant is also really clean and welcoming. Highly recommend their food.

Came in opening week and it was crazy , but growing pains are to be expected when 1st opening and should not be rated off that. So I'm back and they did not disappoint, service was on point the food was delicious. Highly recommend! Sorry about the pic I started digging in .

The food is absolutely delicious and creative, and the service is attentive, helpful in ordering and friendly. My only criticism is the lights are very bright at dinner hour. It's not a reason to stay away, but it would add a little more atmosphere and ambiance.

Dined in the other day and food and service was 100/10. Rileyn hands down was super friendly. Went with my dad who is a veteran and the young lady at the counter (I believe she was either the owner or manager) even gave us a discount and thanked him for his service! Highly recommend this place especially their pho and fried spring rolls! And their fruit infused water? So refreshing. Friendliest and cleanest Vietnamese restaurant ive ever been to.

I have only tried one food here and I will come back and try it again guaranteed. It was a sweet jersey corn and coconut pudding dessert. I love corn and I love coconut but I never in a million years thought of putting the two together. Hot hot crushed corn covered with a cold sweet coconut in a light flavored pudding...sorta. it has to be experienced to be understood. I will be trying the other food here because of this.

A great addition to the Northfield area. Will be coming here often. Came here with my family and the place was super busy but yet the staff did a great job with being attentive. The wait for food was just as I expected for the food is made to order and made so in a homemade style. (Do you rush your grandmother to have your food ready in 15 minutes?) The quality of the ingredients of the food are top tier. I had the shaking beef and crispy noodles, both I highly recommend. Coming from a Vietnamese background, these recipes are the real deal and authentic. I would highly recommend getting a reservation for this place as with how busy it was, I was lucky to get seated. The atmosphere in there was just right, not super trendy, but not boring and bland. The staff was great to my kids and ended up leaving with a couple balloons! This place is still new so I recommend you bring a large appetite but as well as some patience and basic human manners. I witnessed people upset over any wait times no more than 20 minutes and throwing full blown adult tantrums over it. This place will get nothing but better with time, I look forward to seeing what else they are going to have to offer!

This is my new favorite restaurant in Northfield. I got the vegetarian banh mi along with the slaw and it was better than the ones I have had in San Francisco. They put a spring roll on top of it. It was soooo delicious!

Our first time, FANTASTIC. We went @ 5pm on a Tuesday, quickly greeted, offered to choose our own table, perhaps 6 other tables occupied, lots of "to go" orders, well staffed w youthful & active employees. Our server, Many (Mawhny), was polite, professional, friendly, attentive. Love the simple black & white decor, great music choice, contemporary songs on piano. My wife loved her Curry Soup. I loved the Pork Patties. They were more round than flat and perfectly caramelized, served with noodles, veggies, lettuce, garnish. The pork strips in the bowl with broth were a surprise and wonderful. Lightly smokey almost like pork belly. Fresh, clean, flavorful, balanced, large portions, and reasonably priced.

This restaurant I have loved for over forty years am so elated that they have a new establishment,,, they deserve a 10 star ,,, food served is top of the line,, service all is excellence,,, if you have not dined there as of yet ,,,, GET THERE!!!!! 🙏🏼 Continued success and blessings,, 💛 Much Love 💫🥂

Absolutely loved our rainy night dinner here!! Wonton Soup and lettuce words were great. Chicken dish was so tasty!!! . Nice atmosphere and left with our bellies full and big smiles!!!!

This restaurant recently opened. The other day I went to order online and it wouldn’t go through. I called and no answer. I went there to place an order and saw a sign saying they weren’t doing takeout. Which is understandable with being new and just getting into the swing of things. I also should have checked their Facebook page where they give updates on when they are doing takeout. Anyway, I tried them for the first time for lunch yesterday. We got takeout (yay!). It was available until 4PM. SO worth it! Great meal. I got the beef pho and the broth was just… Amazing. The food was ready when I got there. The person who checked me out was kind. I look forward to ordering from them again in the future. I wish them the best of luck at their new location!

I’m very shocked how good the Pho is here. We were not expecting it and some of the best I’ve had and we’re from the West coast. Good service and fast.

Staff was really friendly, food was delicious. Get the fresh squeezed limeade and the veggie spring rolls!
