I love the food here. I cant wait to be back. Their half sandwich and soup is my to go. I love their pickles.

The very best in South Jersey.
This time I had the burger but the
hot dog and potato kinish or pastrami on rye is great. It's a good substitute for Katz in New York City.

Friendly take-out service, matzo ball heaven - light as a cloud, many carrots, celery, thin noodles in an epic broth.

Great place, great atmosphere, long time family favorite beacuse the logo looks like it says Downbeach Eli, instead of Downbeach Deli(we have a family member named Eli). Furthermore, their actual deli part is cute and is just like a real NYC deli, except for all the monopoly decorations

Best fries I’ve ever had . There also dairy gluten egg free and free of all allergens in case you have allergies there fries are really safe for people with allergies .

I'm from PA but I also own a shore house in Ventnor NJ right up the road from you & there most of the summer 3 weeks out of all the summer months & 1 week to 10 days maybe 2 weeks in some cases for all the off season months. I was at DownBeach & always had some very great food & service from you. & you all earned 5 stars from me. ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stop wasting time and get some food here. You won’t regret it. My personal favorite is the pastrami. But get whatever you want, cuz you won’t be disappointed. Unless you’re a glass half full kinda negative loser. Then there’s no hope for you.

Great Jewish Deli. The menu was endless. The waitress brought a heaping pickle tray and bread selection before we ordered. The open face Reuben was piled high with lean, tender corned beef and all the trimmings to make a delicious sandwich. The chicken schnitzel was moist and delicious and the eggplant tomato side dish and baked sweet potato complimented the dish.
The service was wonderful as was the ambiance. We ordered dessert to go. We are looking forward to enjoying Jewish apple cake and cheese cake this evening with coffee and tea.

My last stop before leaving AC and I stocked up on the best homemade knishes around since I was a kid. Freezer is stocked up and the chopped liver is amazing! Can't wait to stop in again next year :)

Fantastic food and great prices. Absolutely love coming here and bringing my entire family. I eat here at least once a week and every time I go the food seems to get better and better. The new owner is great and knows exactly what he is doing. Each and every worker has a great attitude and it makes coming here very enjoyable. Downbeach Deli is absolutely fantastic and by far my favorite restaurant to come to.

Haven't been there since last October, but my Birthdays Coming Up! IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN DOWNBEACH DELI. The choices are humongous and superb. I usually get the Corned Beef Special and the Turkey Club my friend loves and now me, too! My new favorite: The Turkey Dinner with stuffing (😋 Yum), steamed broccoli, cranberry sauce and I order a side of Kasha And Bowties! The split pea soup is the Best I ever Had, because the Chef knows how to cook and doesn't load it with sodium. The Senior Blonde Waitress is the Best Server anywhere. Only wish they were in Philly!

Growing up going to Jewish Delis I can say this place was definitely one I would revisit.
The food was fresh, portion was good. The knish and matzoh ball soup was very good

Still good after all these years. Corned Beef Special & Goat cheese salad !

Buddy and his team are top notch when it comes to food and customer service. Downbeach Deli is not only a comfortable place, but also an awesome atmosphere and a great experience for anybody in the Margate area or just visiting down the shore in general. The Downbeach Deli and Restaurant is very impressive. The food is great especially the fishcakes on Fridays. The best fishcakes in New Jersey! The owners are friendly and accommodating and the service and nostalgic atmosphere are very pleasant. One of the nicest places to eat.

Just visiting in Atlantic City (we’re from Northern NJ) when we stumbled upon this gem! A yummy breakfast - great scrambled egg with lox & onion, delicious home fries, and an awesome bagel with cream cheese! Nothing beats a Jersey bagel! Our waitress was also really nice - unfortunately we didn’t get her name - but she made us feel right at home! Every now and again she’d stop by and say “You okay, kids?” and grab our cups to refill. Everything came out in a timely manner and was cooked to perfection. Now if only this place was in my town!

Amazing customer service and fantastic food. I've come to the Downbeach Deli on multiple occasions and no matter how busy the day is my food comes out fast and tastes amazing. The prices are very affordable and the serving sizes fill me up before I can finish them. I definitely suggest going here it is great. 10/10

Really good Jewish deli in South Jersey. The food is delicious, and the service is great. I came here on Yom Kippur on two different occasions and were both great experiences. The bagels with whitefish salad and whitefish is awesome, the knishes are flakey, and delicious, the chopped liver is great, and the pickled peppers and pickles are good. I highly recommend this deli for those of you who live in the South Jersey region, and to those who are Jewish and plan on going to a Jewish restaurant on a Jewish holiday to celebrate.

Great place to eat in or take it to go. Staff is friendly. Not many classic deli's around like this these days. Especialy not at the shore. Love the pickled platter they give you and love the fact they give kids swizzle sticks to play with. Only a block or two from the beach. Grab a to go sandwhich and head to the beach. Or after the beach stop in and grab a bite with the family. The owners are always around and deeply care about their customers. Great food and also have traditional Jewish food too. Love the fish cakes! Best cole slaw I have ever had. Got 2 quarts to go it was so good. I don't know where they get their mayo but man, it is a perfect addition with any sandwhich. Also, great Caesar salad and dressing. Corn beef is amazing. I also love their beef patty melt. They have fast delivery service to your house as well.
