This place is a guilty pleasure…. starting from the warm garlic parm bread and toasty crusty warm baked breads to the immensely indulgent sherry creme sauce drenched bacon wrapped scallops, a bit of insalada to cleanse the palate and and I was served the biggest plate of double breasted beautifully crispy chicken parm smothered in a fresh plum tomato sauce and baked with mozzarella and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese- the fire place warm light glowing, and vintage 20’s lounge sounds permeated the warm family environment, a truly delightful Italian Restaurant experience!

The food and serving sizes were AMAZING. The last time we ate in was about 7 years ago and we were quite impressed.
The staff and owner were very nice and accommodating to our needs. We ended up learning that we met the owners brother in law a few weeks prior!

Great Italian restaurant with some amazing dishes. Enjoyed my Scallops, Crabmeat and Lobster Ravioli with Asparagus and sun dried tomatoes. It was topped with a lemon cream sauce. For dessert I had the triple layer Chocolate Mousse. Excellent place!

To celebrate a friend's 50th birthday, we had a surprise dinner at Tarantella's. This is a favorite restaurant of the person we were celebrating and it is warranted. The family style was a great and simple option that was very tasty. The Mediterranean tray that preceded dinner was fantastic! Then, there's the staff.... they were stellar. Every detail was handled with great care and enthusiasm; from putting drinks on ice for us to cleaning up quickly between courses to cutting the cake and getting it to every guest. Needless to say, I was impressed!

Love the ambiance, service and food. I will say that even though the marinara sauce is very tasty I found it drowns some of the dishes like stuffed mushrooms and clams casino. Also, I ordered a chicken cutlet dish for takeout (28.00) and received only two cutlets with a side salad/bread which given the large portions of other meals seemed off on quantity.

This place does not mess around when it comes to take out. HUGEEEEEEEE portions - like woah. Always wonderful staff. Delicious authentic Italian food that will blow your mind. Seriously, some of the best Italian we’ve had. We’ve been eating here for years as it’s a South NJ staple! They wont let you down. Come hungry!

Okay me and my boyfriend love it here. We were sat right away on a busy night, our server Patti was awesome! She was accommodating and very friendly. I ordered the fettuccine carbonara and my boyfriend had the fettuccine Alfredo, both were excellent and portions were generous. House salad was delicious as well as the bacon wrapped scallops in peach schnapps sauce- yummy! The owner or I believe the manager was seen greeting guests and checking up on them, he even stopped by our table to say hello and shared a few laughs together! Although we live about 30min away we definitely plan on making the trip again to try out the other menu options. Can’t wait to go back for sure.

We had a private birthday party for about 35 people. The food was amazing and service was excellent. Chris was great to work with and our server Carol was wonderful. Great choice for small parties.

Food was amazimg!! Christine was our server & she was wonderful!! Extremely friendly & had our food out in perfect timing. We celebrated our 1st anniversary here & they definitely went above & beyond to make our 1st time here a great experience. Will definitely be back.

We had the repast after my mother's funeral there yesterday. The food was amazing. The staff was caring and attentive. I will definitely recommend Tarantella's in the future.

Tarantellas had great food and excellent service. The portions are substantial and tasty!! I hand had great servers, too. They've been personable, competent and hospitable. Service usually motivated me to frequent and establishment, and this Tarantellas is no different. The menu is diverse, the specials are innovative. I look forward to dining here again.

Very unassuming place from the outside. I'm not a huge Italian food person but found myself craving spaghetti and meatballs. Probably the best meatball and pasta I've ever had and I'm a foodie at heart. Portions were large too and dessert really topped off the meal. Will definitely return. Service was also great and people were friendly. It's a BYOB too.

Good tasting food, nice atmosphere, great size portions and a real friendly attitude about bringing your own alcohol.

Tarantella is our go-to restaurant for Italian food. Large portions, reasonable prices, and great service. We always leave with enough food for another meal. We are fortunate to have them nearby.

I had my daughters baby shower here on Saturday. I worked with Chris, who was very helpful. Everything was fantastic. The food was delicious. My daughter was so happy. Carol was great, she made sure all of our needs were met. I would highly recommend Tarantella's for your next special event.

Ordered 4 pizzas. They tasted great as usual. Great place to get pizza! From the sauce to the crust amazing!

Excellent lunch, the lunch special mahi mahi which was recommended by our server did not disappoint! Our server Libby was friendly and attentive. Will definitely return!

Service was absolutely excellent. We had Brooke for our waitress and she was extremely attentive and professional. The rest of the staff was great always checking to see if we needed anything. The food was delicious. Huge servings of pasta and the homemade meatballs were amazing. Very family friendly and you can tell they really appreciate giving every customer a great experience.

Attended a hastily assembled luncheon of about 60 people. Fresh vegetables and other specialties were already on the table as guests began arriving. Really nice touch! Main dishes were plentiful and served piping hot. Water glasses were kept full and waitresses were readily available for any requests.
