Jefferson Torresdale Hospital

I was hesitant about coming here as I saw these reviews. I have got to tell you that my experience here has been wonderful. Everyone has been so kind. Especially the nursing staff all the way from the ER with Taylor & Kelly ( I believe that was her name. She was due to go home & stayed to take care of me).On the 2nd floor which I stayed, everyone was very prompt & pleasant. I would definitely come back again as I am due to be discharged tomorrow, if need be. Thank you all so much. Keep smiling.

I had Amber and Deb as my nurse on the fourth floor and I can’t be any more thankful at how great and caring they were with me. I felt extremely cared for and very comfortable especially after a fractured Jaw surgery. Thank you so Much Amber and Deb ! And thank you to the surgeons as well!!!

The healthcare team and Dr. Councilman took great care during my bladder surgery. I highly recommend this hospital and it’s healthcare team especially Dr Councilman.

It was a great experience! He took the time to explain prolapse in great detail. He even drew a diagram of the anatomy. He took the time to answer all of my questions and he was very frank and thorough in his explanations. A very down to earth man, and by the time I left , I knew that I was in very good hands.

Never had any issues so far going to my doctor's office (Suite 106). The office on the 1st floor and right at the entrance of the building, there are always seats available, and not a long wait. Receptionists are nice and friendly, all the doctors that I've been seeing so far through my pregnancy (34 weeks now) - I'm happy with them! Dr Julianna Choi is my favorite, Dr Elizabeth Fitzgerald, Dr Ruiz and Dr Sumner.

I was there for surgery back in December, 2022 and several times afterwards for follow-up treatments. Everyone, including the nice people in admissions, the hospital staff, nurses and doctors were all very sensitive, patient and professional. I have high anxiety when it comes to medical treatments and facilities but everyone who had any kind of interaction with me was highly skilled and managed to minimize my stress and discomfort. Wait time was minimal, too. I wasn’t happy about going to Jefferson Torresdale because of the distance I had to travel, but that’s where my doctors and follow up appointments had to be. All of my experiences at the hospital were very favorable.

The nurse at the waiting room in the emergency part named Ashley me and my husband gives a 10 out of 10 rating for being a good caring nurse.

Starting from ER, my grandmother were registered right away and escorted into the room. Doctors were there in no time. Treatment were administered right there and then. Doctors and nurses who were involved during our stay were kind and sensitive to my grandmother, and were doing everything possible to make her feel better. In a few hours she were transferred into the hospital room. Night shift meet us very welcoming. Accommodated any possible requests. All procedures and medication were explained prior to administering. Family members were allowed during the night stay for whole time being admitted to the hospital. Guards did a great job as well. There was no issues getting in and out even at night time to get some coffee or to grab something at home. Special thanks to Emmy, Emily and Alexa who took care of my grandmother and made her stay in the hospital nice and smooth.

Hello visit Jefferson with my client & her daughter today we stopped at the cafeteria to get something to eat not know we left our cards at home the manger Alisha let us go with our food with out a ? Or a thought thank u Alisha for that,hope to see u again

My mother was transferred from Jefferson Frankford Hospital to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital because of low heart beat or rate and they have done everything human possible to normalize her

The doctors and nurses in the Cardiac or Heart Department are excellent care givers and they go above and beyond in the care for my mother.

I highly recommend Jefferson Torresdale Hospital because of the "Plus One Customer Service " they provide

Had a heart attack on Memorial Day, 2022. Was at a picnic at the Parx race track. Was taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital. From the ride in the ambulance through the ER and eventually my room, the care was great. All very kind and caring. Was not in the ER long and put in a room. The nurses were wonderful and all of the food I had was really good for hospital food. I have had several hospital stays in my life and this was the best one I have had. Thank you to all of the doctors and staff for such good care.

Trauma center staff was amazing! I stayed with my son, Christopher who was in an accident and the Doctors were diligent. He was critical, Nurses in ICU especially the night nurse Jeffery ,were on top of everything. The Surgeon was there quickly and explained clearly. Also thanks to the compassionate er receptionist who helped as soon as I arrived. This has been a nightmare so having professionals act knowledgeable with compassion gave us strength. ICU nurse Dennis and Mike were great also

I don’t care what anybody says about this hospital. It’s the best hospital ever as I was born here.

Dr Luca Giordano is fabulous! Great surgeon, great patient care, and truly a doctor with a heart that cares about the patient. You are lucky to have him. The nursing staff was also outstanding

I go to the Kimmel Cancer center at this location. There is complimentary parking. A front desk as soon as you enter that is very helpful. The staff are nice and professional. They also have been very knowledgeable and able to answer questions. The wait times I've never been beyond expectation. If there is a delay I was notified by the staff with an estimated time. But this was only once for my multiple visits.

I have just finished pulmonary therapy at this hospital. I have nothing but nice things to say about the doctor and the nurses were great. The valet parking was wonderful and free by the way. Always started out my day with a conversation with James at valet parking. He was always on top of things. 😊

Overall, I have had a very good experience. The doctors have been very thorough and the nursing staff very attentive! Special thanks to Eichyne!!!

My mom had a triple bypass surgery the staff in the heart unit where amazing.

went to ER with stomach pain that I suspected was appendicitis. They acknowledged my symptoms and took me back right away. I was seen by the nurse and a doctor who determined I should get a CT scan. Was third in line because my pain was not severe at this point. They kept me in the loop. After my CT they notified me that I did have appendicitis. Assured me that they would operate on me the following day and had me stay the night, assuring me that it would not rupture while on antibiotics. All nurses were very nice and made sure I was comfortable. They checked in frequently. Dr. Operated the next day. Stopped in my room early in the morning and explained the procedure and recovery information. I was back home 5-6 hours after my appendectomy. Was very impressed with the staff and my experience..

I was very pleased with the efficiency of the Emergency Department. I was not a true emergency patient, but everyone who I came in contact with (with speed and efficiency) were the nicest people. I was extremely scared and they put me at ease immediately. They even allowed my son and daughter to stay with me.

This new department was well thought out when it was planned and I hope you continue to do so throughout the hospital.
