The best guac I’ve ever had, hands down! The homemade chips paired excellently with it too. I shared the mini sopesitos and they were great, not too heavy either. The birria tacos hit the spot! Tres leches was so light and fluffy, the perfect ending to a delicious meal. The restaurant is very small but gives a homey, “one of the family” feel. BYOB. Service was prompt and friendly. I can’t wait to come back!

Also, the leftover tacos were even great the next day heated up in the air fryer

This place has the BEST birria tacos, hands down! Each dish I’ve had is always consistent and flavorful; the menu has a lot to offer. Don’t know the names of the sauces (green and orange) but they pack a lot of heat, which adds another level of spice and flavor.

Food was delicious. Birria tacos were one of the best I have ever had. Chicken burrito was delicious as were the chicken tacos. Flan and churros were delicious as well. Very attentive and very pleasant staff. Highly recommend.

This place was phenomenal! In my opinion, one of the best, if not the best, Mexican food I have ever had. My whole family thought it was definitely one of the best they’ve had as well. The appetizer sampler was great - the empanadas in it were fantastic. I got the birria tacos as my entree and they were amazing too. I rarely get birria tacos because a lot of places do not make them. They had a huge selection of food options. Waitress was friendly, and didn’t forget anything. Will definitely be back. If you are thinking about going here, it’s worth it!

What a fantastic place this is! Food quality/portion were excellent given the price point of the entrée items, the service was at par as well. While all dishes were excellent, I definitely recommend any dish that contains the pulled pork, it is superior to the beef and chicken. I found the restaurant to be resoundingly authentic; mercifully not too Americanized, even the stemware was made in Mexico. Great attention to detail! I highly recommend this place.

Incredible. Everything was very authentic and full of flavor! I got the Barbacoa tacos and the Birra tacos couldn’t tell you what one was better they both delicious. I also got the sampler the empanada’s were two thumbs up! You see where I am going with this. All food was top notch. The Staff was also excellent very quick to all your needs. I will definitely go back!

New to the area and needed to find a good, close Mexican restaurant. I’ve never had anything like their enchilada sauce before and I think it has to be hands-down, the best I’ve EVER tried. It’s 100% authentic and 100% delicious. If you have more than 5 people, call ahead. It’s a small place so they’ll have to adjust to accommodate. Get out and support your small local businesses! Stop in at El Nopalito, you won’t be disappointed!!

The food and service was excellent! Definitely coming back. We enjoyed it very much and the location is very nice to have a nice walk, many stores and/or other places to eat. The store windows and surroundings were beautifully decorated for Fall & Halloween occasions.

My second time eating here. Such a pleasure to eat at this place. The service was excellent and the food delicious!

carne asada with beans and rice. pico de gallo on the side with juice. such a great meal for one of my last ones in this visit to new jersey! service was cute and amazing. as i came solo, they sat me by the front with the window and i loved that moment💝 highly recommend to try!

Phenomenal authentic Mexican cuisine that I stumbled upon accidentally. I had the shrimp enchiladas with a side of rice a beans that I couldn’t eat fast enough. Fresh ingredients, perfectly portioned and the menu paired wonderfully with the house made Horchata. I highly recommend dining here and trying your favorite Mexican dish or something new.

Finding good Authentic Mexican food is so hard in south Jersey. This place is amazing!! I didn’t realize how big the portions were but everything was delicious. The people are very friendly too! The food took long but I don’t mind that. It let’s me know that everything is fresh and made to order. The atmosphere is also very calm and cute. The paintings, the music, everything was just right. Another big thing for me was cleanliness! The place was spotless!!

I ordered the chicken empanadas, my husband got the beef (I liked the beef better), and fish tacos. You get complimentary chips and beans which were tasty as well.

I definitely will be back!!

This place caught me by surprise by how good the food tastes. This place has quality, food portions are great and prices as well.

I have been coming here almost every weekend for the last Month or so. It really is that good! I have tried several things from their menu. I have not been disappointed so far! I am so glad I found this place.

They offer outside and inside eat in. Outside is very limited due to few tables. They do get busy at times. If you are patient, trust me, you wont regret it!

Amazing friendly fast service on a Friday night!

The food is as fantastic as it looks! From the chips and spicy salsa (they warned us!) to the perfectly prepared fajitas, our experience is one that you'll love too!

Cute little restaurant. We had a party of 5, one of whome had been here before. We were all thrilled with the experience. The art on the walls and the flags from the ceiling all gave the Mexico feel. There were 3 other tables full during our lunchtime visit. Meals were delicious. We tried the vegetarian burrito, taco salad, nachos, and empanadas.
I personally had the vegetarian burrito and would definitely order again.

This place has become not just one of our favorite Mexican restaurants, but one of our favorite restaurants overall! We’ve been here countless times and nothing has ever been disappointing. Location is great, staff is fantastic, and food is to die for!

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant ever & I lived in San Antonio Texas so I know good Mexican food😂 this place is so authentic and good. Their enchiladas & verde sauce are unmatched. So so good!

Incredible Mexican food. I had the mahi mahi tacos and the nachos with pork. I shared these dishes with my wife and we were very full after eating. The portions are very large. The corn tortillas are so fresh and made the taco absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to go back and try other items on the menu.

Yes yes and yes. Steak Burrito I had was perfecto . All fresh ingredients and the tortilla was even preheated . The sauces have incredible flavor and just the right amount of heat. Be coming back for sure

Got takeout here for the first time and everything was delicious! I got the fried shrimp tacos and the street corn and ate everything very quickly. All the food tasted fresh and flavorful. Will definitely be back again.
