Great lunch deals! Yummy food. Best miso soup, goyoza and rolls I’ve had in a long time.

Place is so cozy, relaxing and has atmosphere of Japan. The best part is there is free parking lot on Saturday and Sundays at the back of the restaurant. Food and service were great! Beautiful blooming tree right outside the restaurant!

I came in at a great time on Friday, it wasn't busy yet. I was quickly given a seat and given my menu. I already knew what I wanted to try, so I was quick with my order. Chawan Mushi, a steamed savory egg custard, and Sukui Tofu. It wasn't until afterwords I realized both foods were soft and creamy, not that I minded.

The tofu came first, as I was warned streaming the custard would take some time. I appreciated the warning, I knew it wouldn't be fast, but the heads up was nice. The tofu was cool, soft, and smooth. It sat in a broth I believe and that gave it a mild savoriness. On top were some green onions, mushrooms, and grated ginger. It was a great start, it didn't fill me up, but was gentle and helped me whet my appetite.

Following that, the egg was quite the opposite. It was hot, from being freshly steamed, and it was cooked with broth being blended into the egg so it had a strong taste from whatever broth they were using. It was so soft that I was worried he would break back into liquid, but it held together the entire time. Apparently it came with chicken, shrimp, and ginkgo nuts. I didn't realize they were there until I was at the bottom, but it was a pleasant surprise to have something to chew on after my meal so far.

If I had one complaint, it would be that I didn't notice any of the nuts in the chawan mushi. Though, the rest of them meal was so good that I didn't mind it, and I may just not have noticed them. After being steamed for so long I imagine they were quite soft.

In conclusion, I'm managed to have an enjoyable meal with nothing but a soup and an appetizer. Next time I come by, I'm going to ready my wallets to get some of the more heavy dishes and some sushi. It's going to take a good bit of holding back to not just stop by next time after work.

Neither of us had been there before, yet it felt authentic. We got seated in a booth and the view allowed us to see everyone.
You can byob but we didnt know that, if not a nice cold sake would have been the choice. We ordered green tea for the table, as well as lemon water.
We started w shisito peppers, the soft crab, and a tuna tartare for us to share. Just right, and very fresh.
We then decided on a few rolls, a few sushi deluxe or assortment consisting of 10 pcs of sushi/6 pcs tuna roll, delicious and cleansing to the pallet.
Brought a menu for the near future as we noticed how many customers ordered to pickup sushi platters, always a great option...

We love Fuji, probably one of the best sushi places in the area, and would venture even the extended area as well.
Service is phenomenal too, every server we've had was always very attentive and helpful.
We tried a great variety of rolls and really can't go wrong with any, and with the specials there's a lot of variety.
Tempura vegetables and shrimp are delicious as well, as are the soups and salads - particularly fans of the miso soup and the house salad with ginger dressing.
We've been coming for a couple of years now and hopefully will keep coming for many years to come too!

We love coming here and getting take out. The sushi is top shelf and perfect every single time. We have frequented this establishment at least 30 times. On our most recent trip I had a small creative plate of sushi tuna and avacado that I can't stop thinking about. The service is always stellar.

By far the best and freshest Sushi in the area, and top 5 including Philly. The dimly lit dining room is quiet and cozy. The service is friendly and prompt. Most importantly though, the food is impeccable. Their selection of rolls is imaginative and the presentation nothing short of artistic brilliance. The quality of their fish is unrivaled and the skills of their itamae crush any challenge thrown their way. This place is a hidden gem and I'm glad it's not busier because I fear the nuance would be lost. Even their take out is remarkable.

My gf and I eat a lot of sushi and this is probably our favorite place in the area. The ambience is nice. The music is relaxing and very familiar after a few visits.

The miso soup is by far the best I've had. It is served in a nice bowl with a nice spoon. The quality of the sushi pieces and sashimi has always been exceptional. All the hand rolls are great and the dragon roll is stuffed with red tobiko which really elevates it.

Overall the price is a bit more than some lower end sushi places but it is worth it imo. It would be cool to see some more variety in the specials, or an omakase/tasting menu option. But otherwise this place is great for reliable, high quality sushi.

We went for Vday.. and it was packed and amazing ! They handled the crowds with grace and ease. We ordered the sushi and sashimi tray and the fish was sooooo fresh and tasty I’m craving it this morning writing this. My hubby ordered the Spanish mackerel and it was one of the best Japanese dishes we’ve ever tasted. Thank you for a fantastic meal and service Fuji team!

The first time I had sushi was at this restaurant at their old location in Cinnaminson. NJ. It was my late Grandfather's favorite restaurant and continues to be a favorite among my family.

There is seriously nothing on the menu you can order that isnt an absolute delight. Their specials are always worth trying, if you like exciting new delicacies.

The service staff is great. Very relaxed and quiet atmosphere and the food is absolutely impeccable. Wonderful presentation and selection of dishes.

Best sushi outside of Japan! The freshness is out of this world. Very reasonable prices. Plenty of rolls to choose from. Apps are all creative and delicious. At this quality, not sure there is much competition to dethrone Fuji as best in NJ.

Great quality food, nice friendly service. Not too crowded. Classic Japanese atmosphere and setting. Reasonably priced, big selection of rolls in range of $14-18. BYOB.

My favorite sushi restaurant in the South Jersey area. The sushi is amazing - fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared - and the Japanese food is really good too.

The takoyaki is a must have appetizer - I strongly dislike octopus and I still can't get enough of this dish.

For sushi, my personal favorite is the salmon belly - ask for it plain and torched, and prepare to have your taste buds delighted.

This place is a BYOB, so I usually bring a pilsner, kolsch, Belgian wit, or similar delicate flavored beer.
