SKY Periodontics - Drs. Yasner, Kazemi & La

I’m a recent patient of Dr. Kazemi and I feel fortunate to have had his experience and exceptional skill level. I am extremely satisfied with my results. The office is staffed with friendly and professional folks who made me feel at ease— from the reception desk and surgical staff to the knowledgeable insurance coordinator.
I would recommend Drs. Yasner, Kazemi & La to my family and friends (I already have 😊) for local, world-class periodontal treatment.

At this time of my life I needed the rest of my lower teeth removed and 4 implants placed. Dr Yasner performed the procedure with no pain either before , during and after surgery. He was totally informative about the surgery at all times. I am very pleased with the outcome of the total procedure.

Dr. Yasner and his team were excellent. Dr. Yasner is very detailed in his work. I always have the best doctors (in this case oral surgeon/periodontics) and he is one of them. I highly recommend Dr. Yasner and his team to anyone that is looking for a high quality oral surgeon/periodontists.

The staff here has been pleasant and professional throughout the entirety of my procedure. Dr. La was quite articulate on what I can expect at each step of the process beginning with an extraction and culminating with a new implant. I was surprised at the amount of time needed for all this work to be completed (months over about a half dozen visits to the office), but I have no doubt that the care I have received has been second to none. Thanks, Dr. La!

Let's be real — no one WANTS to be writing a review about a periodontal procedure. THAT said, I cannot say ENOUGH good things about Dr. Yasner. He is simply the BEST there is. I wouldn't trust anyone else with the implant process, which is quite extensive and certainly nerve-wracking. But Dr. Yasner is very attentive, very informative, explains the procedures and what he is doing in ways that you can understand, and gives you his undivided attention when working with you. My implant failed upon the first installation, through no fault of the doctor's, and it was a bit distressing. However, Dr. Yasner was helpful in navigating the process and was excellent at informing me at every stage of the process when re-doing the implant. And all worked out perfectly on the second try! He is truly everything you want in a medical professional — kind, concerned, a pleasant and relatable chair-side manner, and VERY informative. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I was referred to this practice by my dentist for crown lengthening. I was lucky enough to be scheduled with Dr. La who was knowledgeable and reassured me that the procedure was worthwhile and pain would be minimal. He was right! Now 5 months post procedure and 1 week post veneers, I love my smile.

Can’t say enough good things about Dr Yasner. Went in pretty panicked just about my diagnosis and what to expect- he was so friendly, no judgement whatsoever, I felt he was conservative in his treatment and working with me to do what was needed but also keeping in mind my financial situation- truly put me at ease. I left feeling 100% better than I felt going in, which is the opposite of what I expected! I’m actually looking forward to my future appts and getting my teeth taken care of.

I needed a two stage oral surgery by Dr. Michael Yasner. I had an outstanding experience from start to finish. Dr. Yasner’s staff are polite, friendly and very helpful. I cannot say enough about Dr. Yasner. In addition to being a skilled surgeon, he is informative, respectful and empathetic. At my initial evaluation, he explained in detail the procedure that I was going to have as well as the follow up care and took the time to answer each question that I had. At the time of the surgery, he explained in advance every step of the procedure. He took care to let me know what he was doing throughout the procedure. He and his staff then explained in clear detail what I could expect in the coming days and what I needed to do. He provided me his own cell phone number should I need to reach him prior to my next appointment. After each stage, he saw me back two or three times to make sure that I healed properly and completely. I would certainly return to Dr. Yasner if I were to need another oral surgery in the future. I would certainly recommend him highly to anyone who needs oral surgery.

Dr. La and everyone in the office was consistently courteous and helpful in dealing with my dental emergency. The previous dentist I saw believed I might lose the entirety of my tooth, but Dr. La was able to save the portion of my tooth that was not damaged and drastically improve my prognosis. The surgical procedures were done with great care and I would highly recommend them.

I'm not just expressing nervousness, I am a person treated for anxiety disorder. Once, I visited an oral surgeon and he could not proceed because my blood pressure went sky high!!
I felt so confident in Dr Yasner mostly because he explained everything so thoroughly; he took time to review history. All went as he explained; no pain during or after the gum grafting procedure. I know where I'll return if need be. Also, the effort to maintain air quality with filtering and cleanliness was noticeable beyond any medical office I have been in throughout this time of covid.

Dr. Kazemi is very professional and I received excellent care from him and his team. This was my first implant, and I am completely satisfied. Besides his expertise, he runs his office on time! If your appointment is at 2pm, he sees you at 2pm - rare these days. The office is clean and modern. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr. La at SKY Periodontics just got done drilling 4, yes 4 implants into my mouth over the past year. I have never drilled for oil, but this was similar I'm sure. Covid-19 slowed down the procedure somewhat, but no problem with that. Dr. La really did a great job on me. He took out my decayed, infected, disgusting upper back teeth and really took time to clean out my gums, and said I would feel better getting all the infection out of my body, and he was right on the money. Nice guy, really professional, very knowledgeable, put me at ease, no pain, no stress. All the staff are great to work with also. Everybody is very friendly and accommodating. After years of being unsuccessfully treated for periodontal disease, I was finally referred to Dr. Kazemi at Sky Perio. Dr. K made a careful and thorough review of my 20 year history with the condition, took cultures of my mouth (which no one had ever suggested) and came up with a treatment plan that has finally arrested this disease. His kind and calming disposition assisted me in feeling comfortable and confident that there was a solution for me, and I am finally now able to proceed with long awaited and much needed implants. I am a "patient for life" and am so grateful to him and the entire staff for their kind and meticulous care!

Very clean and inviting waiting room with plenty to read while waiting; although I never waited more than a few minutes. Dr. Yazemi is polite and very professional who thoroughly explained the procedure. The assistants were also very courteous and nice. I definitely recommend their practice.

I saw Dr. Kazemi through a referral from my general dentist for a root plaining (a deep cleaning). The office is clean and the staff is friendly. I couldn't ask for more from a doctor and a practice. He is professional, efficient, and made me feel like a part of the process. He saw me right on time and he and his assistant worked with an easy familiarity. It was almost fun. As far as what can sometimes be seen as an undesirable experience, this was far from it. I have no complaints. If the need for a specialist ever arises, he'll be the first person I see.
