The Candy Buffet

Indulge your sweet cravings with this little store for nostalgic candy as well as candy from today. Very helpful staff. Candy Buffet carries my late grandfather's Horehound Lozengers and my favorite gummies including bears, worms, peach rings, sharks and candy cigarettes from my youth. Reasonable pricing too ! If you ask nicely they will order what you need if they can ! Can't believe a lot of people don't know about this little gem located right on Kings Highway. Being on foot this place caught my eye. I wasn't even looking for it, it found me ! I love candy 😍

Wonderful staff, delicious candy! They went out of their way to educate our group of children about the story of some candy and gave us a special price so we could get candy for the whole group. It was delicious and we made candy necklaces. Highly recommended!

For a small candy store, it has a huge selection of gummies, chocolates, jelly beans, and even M&M’s! Love it! Definitely would recommend it to anyone in the nearby area who’s a sweet tooth!

Nice variety of licorice and assorted candies. It’s a tiny store but just enough for the sweet tooth.

Stumbled into this little treasure. Love all the nostalgic candies. Photos are from several years ago so the store has been update and doesn’t look the same. Not better or worse, just different. Staff was nice. I I went on a late closing Saturday nite two weeks before 2023 Christmas and three days into Hanukkah. My biggest surprise was the two dogs in a candy store? They barked a bit and one growled, especially at the kids. I petted both, and purposely went near the growling dog while a small child approached. He wasn’t aggressive and moved back while growling. Happened three different times while I was shopping. So wasn’t a one time thing to” one” person, family or child. Just mentioning it as really young kids can unsettle tiny dogs, and the reality is that any dog can bite regardless of its history. So avoid f you have small children who are spooked or may spook small dogs. Not sure the wisdom of allowing two barkers in there in the first place but….lThe other worry was the glass lids on lots of bottles very accessible to small children. One poor grandmother was talking to her 5-6 year old grandson as he was all over the place, ( after all it IS a candy store) and within that minute, her 2 year old grand daughter was trying to open one of the glass tops. Aside from those two concerns, I bought a ton of Christmas stocking stuff, and can see NO issues with the quality of anything. One reviewer mentioned “ bigs” inside chocolate covered pretzels, which is something not even sold in the store. As mentioned this review is from 12-23. Most others from several years ago. Note on Parking: Street is metered like most towns with stores along main streets, and is busy during the day, again like most towns. However, it’s free after 5:00 and free on weekends and FREE during the entire Christmas season. Also, There is a large parking lot behind the dinosaur which is why I checked, lots of parking below.

All the old time favorites. Good prices for very hard to find candies from your childhood. Be careful going in, you will come out with arm loads of candy.
