Big Wave Burritos

Fantastic spot for lunch!

A group of us were walking in downtown Cape May and decided to try Big Wave Burritos, man what a great choice.

I ordered a Burrito with the Buffalo Cauliflower. The burrito was fantastic, filled with fresh ingredients and the buffalo cauliflower was crispy and tasty.

My friends all ordered various Acai Bowls and they all were bowls filled with amazing flavors.

We will be going back!

We got the rice bowl w fried cod, lettuce, tomatoes beans and rice. 3 fish tacos-cod tomatoes cheese lettuce tomato. Chicken tacos-chicken lettuce tomato cheese. I added hot sauces to my tacos. Food is fresh to order. Places is bright clean and laid back feel. Tacos served on metal tray. Bowl comes in a recyclable bowl. Tacos are served on a recyclable holder that seperates 3 tacos. A family across from us ordered the nachos. Big portions of the nachos. I'll try the nachos next time. 5 burritos out of 5 burritos. 🌮🌯🥙

This place is absolutely a must go to place! They food is delicious and the service is fast! We ordered food to go and then ate it out on the Cape May beach.

Highly recommend the fajitas! We got ours to go due to COVID. Massive portions. Staff was friendly and helpful. We waited about 40 minutes for our food. You should order before you arrive if you’re in a hurry.

Tasty, cheesy burritos and quesadillas. Really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Chill, friendly staff cooking and serving the food as well. Nice vibe/music too. Awesome spot.

We loved this place- hit it up mid morning before taking a rail bike tour next store. Owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Kids breakfast burrito, fish tacos with curry sauce, and steak quesadilla were all delicious. Loved the low wood table, decor, smoothies and bathroom was clean (always adds a star for me!)

Tasty tacos with wholesome ingredients and always fresh. Never a bad meal.

Food was great and I am picky. Had a veggie burrito. Rice was flavorful and guac was great. Music was a bit loud but no issues. Love any surfer/ so. cal vibe. Definitely coming back. Cash only is a bit rough but now I know to be prepared. 2019? post

12/19/20 update they moved :( i miss the surf vibe in old location..this is very nice but other location had much more personality and a cali vibe...$6.50 is crazy for 1/2 bag of chips and an individual guac. Not as great as i remembered.. i may be back..i may not.

The plenty big chicken burrito had a rich, smoky flavor and I enjoyed the ingredient mix--wheat wrap, corn, black beans, salsa, cheese, lettuce, sour cream and chicken. Good eatin'! Like a lot of shops at the beach, it's cash only.

I walked in and asked what to order. They recommended the steak/fish g-crunch which was tasty. It was almost enough for 2 people.

A great casual place to grab a bite. We all enjoyed our meals. Go hungry, the burritos are big!

Never a bad experience! Staff is always friendly and place is clean and inviting. Love their tacos (steak and chicken). The only bad thing I can say is they close pretty early on Taco Tuesday in the winter. Other than that 100% recommend

This was such a great find! We really enjoyed the food and low-key environment. Would recommend this when you need a delicious meal away from the really busy areas of town!

Large home made burritos at a good price. Choose from large menu with many options. Nice outside seating area with good people-watching view of Lafayette St in Cape May

Got the taco salad with buffalo cauliflower. Was very good.

Have tried a few of the Mexican style restaurants in Cape May and I think this one may be my favorite. All of the people in my party also enjoyed it. Will come back.

We ate in several places and this was the clearly the best food in town. Very simple menu. We were a party of four and everyone got something different. All dishes were absolutely delicious! The lady at the counter was very busy,patient and super friendly. Would definitely go back.

Isabelle was spectacular at the counter and even brought our food over when it was ready! The food was fresh and delicious. Will definitely return again!

Everything we got here was absolutely delicious! The chicken burrito is one of the best I've ever had and the guacamole was amazing!

I liked this place a lot. Idk these other reviews, it's not a fine dining but it's got a good veggie taco and smoothies were really good. Try the street corn for a delicious treat! Eating outside with music was fun. Everyone I'm seeing is enjoying their food, cut the staff a break...
