This was like Locating Wakanda, it was wow once i arrived. Flavors and amazing quality.

The BBQ smell and feel was top notch. It's been a long time since great BBQ has been tasted. It's neat tasting different regions of BBQ.

It's an adventure for sure. Explore the outskirts of the northern realm, basically nothing is bad on the menu.

If you can't taste or smell these Majestic flavors, then that's a sign of covid.

That's why it gets 5 star Michelin chef award.

Best BBQ than any of these chain restaurants that enter any country or state fair.

Best bbq I've ever had. Brisket was perfectly smoked and the smoked sausage had just the right amount of kick. Really good mac and cheese too.

Best BBQ in town and Mr. Monty is so nice to the kids and all his customers. He's from Texas, so he knows good BBQ. He's only open for lunch, and it's a food truck. Started out the day working out in the cold and we were feeling the itch for a hot and hearty meal. Let me tell you what Monty’s BBQ delivered. Don’t let the appearance fool you. It may be a food truck but this food is so high quality it might as well be a 5 star restaurant in the heart of Austin. The true-to-style Texas BBQ flavors made me feel as if I was sitting by the chuck wagon after a day of driving a herd of longhorns under the open prairie skies. The brisket burritos can only be described as stellar. Monty’s brings staggering bbq flavor into a perfect marriage with a classic southwest influence to create the best burrito this side of the Mississippi. I couldn’t help but go back for more and that was the best choice of my life second only to leaving my third wife for a hooters girl back in ‘03. Everyone who knows bbq knows that the true measure of a smoker’s skills is the pulled pork sandwich and let me tell you what. The pulled pork sandwich plum knocked the boots right off me. I had to go buy a shirt two sizes up I was so full but that didn’t stop me from housing the whole thing. If I could marry Monty I would just to get that kind of cooking every night. Heck of a bbq joint. Even reached out to all my ex wives to recommend this place. 5 stars.

ALWAYS a great experience! The owner has great customer service skills and pays close attention to detail. He makes me so happy every time I visit! He even writes "his" and "hers" on both mine and my boyfriend's sandwich boxes. Besides all that -- the food is authentic and AMAZING!! Best BBQ in Minot, hands down. Support your local small business and give him a visit! You won't regret it.

I know for a fact he puts a lot of work for his food I know he starts at 2 am to make sure his food is perfect

Let me tell you this place is hands down the best BBQ in the Midwest!
I cried when I realized that I had almost finished my food it was so good.
If you get a chance to stop at Monty’s BBQ do it you will not be disappointed.
Not only is the BBQ great but Monty is epitome of southern hospitality.
Definitely an 11 out of 10.

Excellent food and decent prices. Only thing I would change is the hours (11-3pm Tues - Fri) as it is tough to get to during the work week.

We stopped over after our delivery. The brisket burrito was superb! You can tell this place takes pride in their bbq and it shows. Definitely marked this place on our maps and hopefully we will be back this way again soon. Tysm

Great Texas bbq by a real Texan. His food is so great, people stand outside in -20 degree temps for lunch at his food stand. House made sauce is awesome.
All his meats are perfectly smoked, juicy and tender.
Try the pepperjack mac and cheese, it's not overly spicy, but has a great pepper taste.

I was beating myself up for not trying this place sooner. I try new things every time I go there and I haven't had anything I've disliked yet. All excellent taste and quality; my stamp of approval (however insignificant it may be)as the best BBQ in Minot hands down.

If your In Minot,ND and don't eat at Montys you are wasting your money. Best BBQ I've eaten my whole life. If you like burritos and BBQ try the BBQ Burrito.

This is a food truck next to the Kaffee Kiosk. Really great brisket and sausage. Tastes like real texas bbq. Definitely one of the better places to eat in Minot. They do have a couple outdoor picnic tables to sit at or you can just get it to go. They serve potato salad, coleslaw, and beans as side items. Pulled pork, brisket, smoked turkey, and sausage as main items. You can also order the "Full Belly" which is a sampler of all the meats. I recommend going with that!

I'm literally never disappointed!! Food is always just as great as the time before!! It's hard to find that consistency in food here in minot. Good job Monty!

I love eating from here! Almost every day has a "this day only" meat. The sauce, the smoke, and an upbeat attitude from the owner makes this place a must-go every week. And don't be late, he does run out of food practically every day and closes shop.

BBQ burritos are amazing ! Tried the pulled pork out of this world ! Great service ,very good pricing ,well worth the stop . Will be going back again ! You have to give this place a try !
