Such a wonderful time spent in this park. Nice location of the play area next to the river view. Can see lot of planes take off as it's almost nearby the Philly airport. The park 🏞 has historical significance. It was fun for the kids to play in the ship themed play structures and slides. Lovely place with lots of visitors. There was a live music 🎵🎶 for which my kids were dancing 🕺

This park is very good, it has everything a family needs, it has several toys for children. Excellent area for a picnic with family and friends, we have the green nature, the beautiful Delaware river, the planes descending to land at the Philadelphia airport. It also has the historic part where there are samples of old huts from the year 1643. It has a small trail good for walking. There are several benches for you to sit and exuberant nature

It's one of my favorite places to go around there. It doesn't close till 9, and at sunset, pretty lights come on all around the park. It's beautiful to sit by the water, especially at night. It's really nice to watch the planes go over the water, too. They also have two really nice big playgrounds that have fences around them and also a splash park. It's great looking at the old buildings also if you're into history like I am.

Great spot to watch the river from DelCo. Also currently one of the only known nesting locations of Purple Martins behind Holiday Inn, great place to watch them forage.

I have been coming to this park most of my life. Park started out as just a bunch of trees and the water to fish or play in back then. I have watched the park grow into a really beautiful area where family's can come and enjoy all the park has to offer. I now bring my grand kids to play on the swings. I miss the water park and I wish there were more benches to sit on up by the play area. I can't wait to see what new stuff is added to this great park . I do miss the trees but all in all park is a great place to come .. I even come during the day just to sit and enjoy it . Great job . Keep up the great work

This is a lovely park—especially so during the early evening hours. Me and my airplane-obsessed toddler love sitting and watching the airplanes head to landing at the airport, with the beautiful view of the water as the sun sets. The playground equipment is great, and my 2 year old loves playing on the pirate ship. Hopefully they turn on the splash pad this year!

A nice, diamond in the rough. This is a great park that sits right on the Delaware river. Well maintained and beautifully groomed, with lots of wildlife. It’s also rich in history, with plaques displayed throughout the park. There’s several gazebos and a small amphitheater. Oh and did I mention the paved walking path?!

Such a beautiful park so peaceful and serene. We went for the splash park, my kids love to keep cool on hot days. Unfortunately the splash area was not on, but we still enjoyed this beautiful park. We had a small picnic, and enjoyed time by the river. My puppy enjoyed himself as well.

It’s a special place to me. I go there often to study and meditate. The Swedish flag is pretty. Is it wrong that I like it more than the American flag? Hahaha. I like the lights in the park as well and the planes landing at the airport is cool to watch. I don’t like how the park closes at 9pm though. That’s ridiculous. It should be open all night. It’s a park. The police saw me in there at 9:15pm last night, they didn’t say anything to me and I left. I didn’t notice the time. Come on guys, it’s a park and a beautiful place to relax. Change the hours. It should be 24 hours.

Super cool little park, and a beautiful location! Interesting place to learn some about New Sweden and a play place for kids. There are multiple pavilions and park benches to sit at and talk as well as large grassy areas and even a horse shoe game to play at! Definitely a wonderful park with wonderful people in it.

Absolutely love this park, had never been here but plan to go there more now as the views are beautiful. They have a farmers market in the summer months too every other Wednesday night the sign indicated. Wildlife are pretty friendly too!

The walking path is even and free of cracks. You can't beat the scenic River as a lap starter and ending. The park is well maintained. There are benches facing the river and around the park. The story of the settlement is told on boards as you walk around the cabins and grounds.

This park is lovely. It is well-maintained and offers many areas, on park benches and in gazebos, to sit and enjoy the waterfront. Friends are made here as everyone talks to one another. It is a joy to add this to my list of special Go-To places.

Great park, very clean. Bigger children sometimes play here, so if you have little ones be careful.

I have been coming here for 40 years. It has changed for the better 😃. We still have water, boats, airplanes ✈. Now there are 2 playgrounds and a water 💧park area. Beautiful gazebos and a walking 🚶‍♀path.

I've been going here for a long time. The renovations to say the least are fantastic!!! Great place for a picnic lunch with the breeze sweeping up your senses, the boats and the water take you to your happy place and the roar of the planes may have you wishing you were leaving on a jet plane.........

I was SO impressed with the renovations. It's a beautiful family place to sit near the water. Several gazebos, horseshoe pits, long jump pit, kids mini water park and 2 playgrounds. Watch for goose poop.

Update 9/2/2022
Unfortunately, the splash pad is closed until further notice; I'm guessing because of the drought we are in. My kids are so disappointed. We only got to enjoy the Splash Pad once in 2019, when it first opened.

Update 8/2021
Due to Covid and kids not yet able to be vaccinated, the splash pad is still turned off. My kids were disappointed once again but at least they could play at the playground, walk along the water and explore the rest of the park.

Update: 7/2020
Due to the Corona Virus, the Splash Pad is turned off, much to the disappointment of my two school aged kids. Hope the virus is gone by next summer so my kids can enjoy the spalsh pad again.

9/2019
The splash pad was a blast for my kids. They loved the buckets of water that would drop on them and the water that sprays up from the ground. They loved spinning the carousel of water too. There's two playgrounds right next to the splash pad, 1 is for toddlers and 1 is for older kids. We haven't explored further but we will. Wish I'd known about this place sooner than Labor day weekend.🤦‍♀ 💁‍♀
