Ethel Waters Park

Although There is a homeless population in this park, they mostly maintain to themselves and try to not be intrusive in any way. Sometimes you can witness a glimmer of humanity as some people go help another one who is less fortunate as seen in one photo with a Christmas tree given to a homeless person during Christmas.

It is located just off 291 so getting there is not a problem Parking should comfortably fit on Commission st.

There is electricity within this park and fishing is permitted. It is a decent spot to host a party or walk your dog.

It is generally clean other than the fountain that is currently disabled and is awaiting maintenance.

During twilight hours you can get some incredible calming views. This is definitely one of chester's better parks.

I had myself a good :,ol time. Smoked a little weed, drank a 40oz. Budweiser and Fireball. Also, I had a very stimulating conversation with a kind hearted, intelligent young man. We had seem to find more in common than there was deference s. And the only difference I could hardly tell was color. I enjoyed meeting this person.

Nothing much to see but I go for the peace and quiet

Went for an event that was an amazing experience. Now I go for hubby and I to get out without a bunch of people. It foes have the local homeless people living there but they don't bother you if you don't bother their homes. Electric for phone charging and water for fishing and to enjoy the view (if water calms you like me) it's quiet and peaceful because all the locals hand at the waterfront instead
