The Village Pub - Swedesboro

I was very satisfied eating here. All the food was very delicious! I love the rustic atmosphere and the only complaints was us not getting our drinks or extra plates, but that’s probably because it was very busy. Those were the only complaints I have. The kids were very satisfied, the desserts were great, and just overall we had a great time here. I recommend! This was our second time coming here, and definitely not the last. I know we will be coming back here soon. Some dishes I recommend are the pretzel bites appetizers, the grilled cheese, and the dark side of the moon dessert. There is plenty more on the menu I still have to try, and based on what we got tonight, I just know I will get the chance. I will definitely be coming back! Keep up the great work! It was delicious and a great satisfying dinner.

Over all I usually love this place. The service is all most always good. I also usually enjoy the food. However I would not recommend the Steak Fajita Flatbread. The veggies were soft and mushy and the steak seemed to be like a minute steak. However the New England Clam Chowder was very good.

Nachos were absolutely fantastic, huge portions, Darkside of the Moon dessert was the perfect way to end our meal. Craft beer selection extensive including local breweries. Very affordable and the staff was courteous and friendly. Ample parking and easy to find, highly recommended

Traveling from out of town and stumbled on this gem. Service was friendly and attentive. Great menu selection and tasty. Will definitely come back.

First time there. Had a coupon and no problem 😊 👌🏿. The service was great. Food looked good and tasted 👍🏾. Took half home. People of all ages were there. I would like to go there during happy hour. Then the specials seem great.

Let me start by saying the Village Pub is great. We visit here once every other month and we are never disappointed. I ordered chicken buffalo bites, fried mozerella and chicken pot pie. My wife ordered fish n chips and my son ordered a quesadilla. The fried mozerella was HUGE and was awesome! The buffalo bites are always great! Our waitress was amazing and made sure we were happy the entire time. Total bill for all this plus sodas and a cosmo was $90 with tip. Keep in mind that the parking lot is a madhouse on the weekends, especially on a game night. Expect to park near the Acme. The Village Pub is U Do It approved!

Amazing dinner and great staff. Pricing and portion size was the best I have seen in a long time! If you’re traveling through swedesboro then make this your next visit!

My first time visiting The Village Pub. I attended a birthday celebration today. We had a great time. Atmosphere was great, clean and stylish interior, host and servers provided excellent service. And the wings were great. I will be back.

Stsff was super friendly and the food came out very quickly. Good music playing with many options for sports on TV. Overall great place.

The food is good. The staff is friendly and attentive. They have sports on several TV's.

Was a great experience. I got seated quickly at the beginning of lunch. I ordered wings and a burger. Both were very good. Service was great and attentive.

'nother update: way awesome. The Guinness meatloaf is better than I imagined it could be. Lively on Tuesday nights. Love the service.

Update: bumped my review up to 4 stars after another visit. Had some tasty crab cake sliders, the salmon bbq entree, and cheesecake for dessert. All well prepared.

The service was again very good, and I enjoyed a little bit of live music on the Thursday night.

Based on just one dining experience I'd give The Village Pub an "OK" primarily based on the food prep. The service was solid, atmosphere lively, drink selections more than adequate.

The menu has some great standards and enticing creative options, and I would bet when the kitchen's A-team is working then it pays off. I had the chicken pot pie and the crust was out of this world fantastic. Ingredients/recipe for the filling was just what I like but the veggies were not cooked enough. Correcting that, plus some actual flavoring, would probably get a four or five stars from me.

I'll be back again and anticipate a much better eating experience.

Deviled Eggs are amazing. First time trying those after hearing good things about them. Shrimp & Crab dip I have chosen the last 2 times I have eaten here and perfect both times. The beaded mozzarella is always the perfect appetizer. We did take out for this order but we prefer to eat in. Great vibe, especially during Flyers games!

Just tried this via Door Dash for the first time, the food was amazing!!!
I had to try their grilled cheese with marmalade and rosemary butter.. it was to die for!!! Will 100% be visiting and ordering again. Beyond stuffed and impressed!

Ordered the ribeye steak sandwich it was excellent I had originally planned on bringing half of it home it did happen but not in the box couldn't help myself

Great food, great service. We go pretty regularly so treated as VIPs, but looking around, the servers do provide service with a smile. Bar backs hustle. Great monthly specials.
