Joseph Giannone installed a new toilet same day I called. We had an emergency. He was extremely professional, skilled, compassionate, quick, neat and very fairly priced. I would say he is a dream plumber, absolutely perfect! If only I had known about him years ago!

I have been using Joe Giannone for almost 30 years. Joe is professional, patient and honest to a T. He has done work for me ranging from a drippy faucet to replacing my water service. My first encounter with Joe was when I was referred to him by a contractor doing work for me. I had bumped the old lead service and it was leaking. I had just bought my home and was not in the position to replace my service. Joe never tried to sell me a new service and was able to repair the service for $100. This repair held for a few years until I could afford a new service. I am often hesitant to recommend trades people as I feel their performance will reflect upon my reputation. However I have been happy to recommend Joe many times over the years.

It's been quite cold in Philadelphia these past several weeks, so when my 40+ year old heating system's expansion tank failed on Sunday and all the water drained from my radiators, I was a bit panicked and quickly became cold. My PGW Parts & Labor Plan won't cover any component of a heating system that is connected to water, so I had to call a plumber. I got several recommendations from friends whom I trust and called on Martin Luther King Day. Because of the cold, plumbing & heating demand is very elevated, but Joseph Giannone found time between jobs to come out, assess the situation and identified instantly not only the problem but the exact part and manufacturer. He called the supply house on speaker phone in my presence. Unfortunately, the part -- an expansion tank with kit -- was not in stock, but rather, was on order and actually in transit. To my good fortune the part arrived the next day, I had a phone call from the company and a price quote, as well as the option to do the job the next day (today). The plumber who arrived was polite, knowledgeable and efficient. He verified the price quote before starting, explained the job, and set to work. When he left several hours later, there was no trace he'd been here... and my house is toasty warm after only about 30 minutes, after three days with no heat at all. Obviously, every experience will be different -- sometimes unexpected problems arise -- but I will not hesitate to call this company again, and will recommend it to my friends, should the need arise. Josh is professional and very skilled. Giannone plumbing made what could have been a very stressful situation much better! Highly recommend.

The other companies tried to sell my on things I didn't need and JG was honest and provided an option that fit my budget and also resolved my problem. Giannone Plumbing replaced my sewer lateral on Lombard Street. This was a difficult job, and no other plumber wanted to touch it. Underground utilities, bus line, busy traffic. Joe and his entire crew were professional, communicated well, told me what to expect and when, and delivered what they promised. Highly recommend.

While I am not happy I had to have a flood because of a broken sewer I am glad I found a great plumber in the area who provides awesome service and quality work. I called Gianonne and Joe came to my house at 6:30am. By 3pm that day i could use the water again in my house with out the water ending up in my basement. I take care of 84 yr old parents who are both very sick and having running water is vital to giving them a clean dignified life. And Joe himself worked on resolving my problem and assisted me in diagnosing another water issue with my basement. I went through quite a few different plumbing companies prior to reaching these guys, but I can say now with the excellent customer service and great work, these guys are honest and have my business for any future plumbing needs. They might not be the cheapest plumber, but what I have learned is, you get what you pay for. If you want it done right, and avoid future problems, this is the place to go. HIGHLY recommend if you're in need of a plumber!

Joe and his team installed a whole house water filtration system and a scale inhibitor system for our tankless hot water heater. Joe is very knowledgeable , very professional and is very patient in making sure you understand everything and in answering all of your questions.
