Market Square Memorial Park

Nice and convenient park to watch the river from. Good diversity of gulls like to sit on the railings and watch the cormorants and geese.

Market Square Memorial Park is located in Marcus Hook, PA along the Delaware River. In tribute to those who have served our country memorials have been erected throughout the park. A lovely walkway is provided and is quite popular with local walkers providing a safe environment and scenic view of ships, tankers, and tug boats pulling barges up and down the shoreline. It's a nice quiet place to relax and watch the boats come up and down the river. It's a great place to take the family for a picnic as well.

A nice little park at the end of Marcus Hook. The only thing difficult to miss are the two oil refineries to the north and south. There's a slight scent to the air, but otherwise, it's a nice little place to stop, watch the boats in the river, have your lunch. The borough has various festivities at the park throughout the year too. Watch out for the geese! They weren't there this visit, but when they are, they rule with an iron fist of justice.

This place is so serene. I love walking through here and looking at all the monuments. There was maybe 2 other people here today. If you’re looking for a quiet place outside I suggest you come here.

Nice park can used more bench areas in shade more events or get donations from businesses in area to help support the park. Like they did at gov. Priz pk.

Usually pretty clean, however, the geese are a bit to frisky for my liking. They have no problem rolling up on you squad deep, which is kinda intimidating 😳

My first time here like almost 2 weeks ago the kids enjoy this park nice breeze coming on. I'm thinking about throwing my youngest son birthday party here soon. Do anyone know who i can call or place to book it here to get a permit?

Quiet area to eat lunch or stroll around. Small walking path within the park, roughly 150 yards. Plenty of shade and picnic tables.

Really small park with powerful presence of information for the famous Wars 👏my husband and I ate crabs at the bench and watched the many ships 🚢up and down the river

When I lived around the area, I would always run to this park to watch the huge cargo ships. You don't realize how massive they are until you are that close to them! The geese and squirrels are very curious and friendly!

It's a great place for me to walk my 10 laps around the park everyday. It's a place of peace n solitude

Quiet enjoyed Lucy with my fiancee but the squirrels they gangsta lol feed one a French frie next thing you know their was about 10 of them surrounding me I didn't want no problems with the squirrels them told me if I didn't hand over the rest of the fries I be swimming with the 🐟 es they got what they want we rolled out lol
