Chateau Inn and Suites

Our room was perfect for our anniversary/Christmas season weekend getaway. We made good use of the fireplace (with an unlimited supply of packaged logs) and the weather cooperated so we could snuggle with our coffee on the balcony each morning. I have a bad knee, but the concierge freely offered to carry our suitcases to the room.

Outside our window we had a beautiful view of the town's Nativity scene, Menorah, and Santa with his sleigh.

The common area by the front desk has a beautiful fireplace and there was always fresh coffee and cool lemon water available.

Only negative: minimum three-night stay means you're really just paying a higher price if you can only stay the weekend. I talked to guests in two other rooms who likewise said they had to pay for a three-night stay when all they could use was two nights.

Our daughter gives us a gift certificate every year. We have never been disappointed. Looking forward to our stay!!!

One of my favorite spots I've stayed at in New Jersey! The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The property was well kept with beautiful flowers everywhere. I loved the outdoor seating the most. It is in a great location with the beach and downtown shopping area within walking distance. The provided beach passes, chairs and towels were a big plus as it saved a lot of room in the car while traveling. The staff was always so friendly and helpful as well. I would definitely recommend staying here and can't wait to go back!

Historic inn near town center and beaches. Beautiful building, foyer and large living room seating. Lemon and cucumber water as well as coffee available all day for guests.

Will stay here again! Helpful staff, clean rooms, cozy spot, walking distance to downtown. Great recommendations on where to shop and eat.

Only note: bring sound machine. Train sounds.

This hotel is absoutley perfect and should be any vacationers first choice in the area. It is in a great location (short walk from train station, short walk to the beach - you could spend several days there without need for a car). They have bicycles to borrow as well as beach chairs, and provide towels (and even a bag to carry them in). The rooms are very cute - have been in a few and each is set up a little differently but they all "work". Every room also has large outdoor space. However, the best part of the hotel is the serviice - the people who work there really seem to want guests to have a positive experience. Sage (who I believe is the manager) could not have been more accomodating to both small and large requests (e.g. storing luggage, keeping beach badges a little longer, changing bicycles, restaurant suggestions) and Amanda and April went out of their way to find a way to make my reservation work out (even on Labor Day weekend).

Stayed over night December 26th and as always a wonderful relaxing experience. Love this place!!!!!!!

What a wonderfully relaxing experience at the Chateau Inn! The property itself is rich in history and very well maintained. The owner Scott is personable and great to converse with! The front desk staff of Jeff, Sage, and April are very accommodating and always ready to assist to ensure our stay was nothing less than perfect! The area is serene and the beaches very quiet and clean. We are definitely coming back as much as we can! Oh and Kim's flower arrangements are that added touch of excellence!

Very nice rooms, Do smell a little musty but to be expected for a beach area. Spring Lake is a small beach community. Quieter and Quaint Small downtown shopping area. We come here to relax and enjoy the lake and the oceanfront. Hybrid

My family needed a place to stay down the shore for a long weekend and are so glad we found Chateau Inn and Suites! It is so charming and the location couldn't be better (10 min walk to the beach, 5 min walk to the main stretch of Spring Lake, and easy access to all of the other busier shore towns). The rooms were clean, cozy, and quiet (couldn't hear my 2 year old nephew crying in the room next door). There are lots of places to sit and gather with a group, and it was so convenient to have badges, beach chairs, beach bags, and towels available. You could also rent bikes for a minimal fee. Although they don't offer breakfast, they have an agreement with a local shop that delivers delicious breakfast quickly! They also have round-the-clock cucumber water, lemon water, iced tea, and coffee available in the lobby. The staff was very helpful and friendly - they spent a solid 30 min trying to get our TV working, and when they couldn't they offered us a gift card for breakfast.

My fiancé and I stayed at chateau inn and had a great experience! Every person we encountered at the front desk was very pleasant, friendly, and helpful. The inn is in a perfect location as shops , the beach , and other nice spots are mostly of walking distance. Our room was clean and the grounds were kept very nice. We would definitely stay here again.
Oh and the coffee/tea bar was a plus!

My husband & I stayed at the Chateau Inn over the Christmas holidays to visit with family. This is a beautiful hotel, it was so welcoming and so cozy with all the holiday decor. I can't say enough good things about April and Amanda and everyone else at the front desk. They could not have been more helpful and accommodating. It was like coming home for a visit. Our room was very clean and decorated beautifully. We were only a couple of blocks from the beach and boardwalk and downtown Spring Lake, which is so quaint. This will definitely be our home away from home whenever to go up to visit from Savannah GA., which will be quite frequently, as we just had our first grandchild :)

Words cannot begin to describe how pleased my wife and I were with our stay here. It all began with the warm welcome from the Pleasant and informative greeters at the front desk. When we got to our room we were blown away by how immaculate the room was, not so much as dust in the corners. The ambiance was aesthetically pleasing and very intimate. The penthouse parlor made us feel like the only people staying there. It was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend a stay here. We'll be back in October for sure!

Just returned from 4 relaxing days at the Chateau. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the people and the whole vibe! Jeff and Sage at the front desk could not have been more accommodating and we wanted to let management know they are definitely an asset! We are already trying to fit in another 4 days in the fall. We love this place! Great location, wonderful staff, April was amazing both times we have stayed there.

I do not want to say too much about this hidden gem, but I have to give it up to this hotel. My grandparents owned motels and bungalows on the NJ shore, that being said I have a lifetime of NJ shore experience :) We had not to returned to the NJ shore after my family sold the properties until this place was recommended to us during COVID Shutdown.

This place is very special, a unique combination of great location, wonderful staff and comfortable accommodations. I would recommend it to everyone I know but then it would be even more difficult to find a vacancy :)

A lovely inn. They thought of everything and made my husband feel special for his birthday. We enjoyed our Luxury King Parlour, which was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Wonderful location for hitting the shops or the beach, or just for strolling around the area gaping at all of the houses. Thanks for everything!

We have come here for winter for a few years so it has always been a special place for us. Last year it became even more special, because we got married here! It was a wonderful elopement in the park across the street followed by a quick trip to file the marriage license at the city building next door.

We love the chateaux. It's a wonderful hotel, always clean, great people, great rooms, great jacuzzi or kitchen if you get that one. We've been in most of the room setups, even the kitchenette, and they were all great.

We love walking to the park or beach nearby. Can't wait to visit next year.

The Chateau Inn at Spring Lake, NJ is really lovely and welcoming. We were in a king parlour and it was very comfortable and had everything one could desire, including a fireplace all set up. Only thing, the queen sofa bed doesn’t allow space for a little table and chairs.

One of the best hotels in Spring Lake. Its high end. Beautifully maintained. I toured this hotel a few years ago. All the rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Close to town and the beach. Ann Margaret stayed here in the 60s.

We have been coming here for years and we love it. They have so many unique rooms that are always clean. Staff is friendly and they are regularly updating the rooms. You can easily walk to restaurants or around the lake, or right to the beach! The beds are super comfortable too. This is a beautiful place in a fantastic location. They have some great off-season deals for quick getaways too!

Lovely decor/furnishings in room and lobby. Outside is also super cute! It feels private and is peaceful at all hours. Super close to the beach. I just wish they would bring back some form of complimentary continental breakfast 😄
