Bottle Shop of Spring Lake

When my wife and I vacation in Spring Lake, this is where we buy our wine. The selection is excellent, prices are reasonable, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Kevin helped us select what has become one of our favorite Sancerre wines.

The store is very clean and has a nice variety of snacks (we love the sesame sticks) and accessories (we bought an insulated wine bag).

There is plenty of parking in front of the store, though if you are shopping on 3rd Avenue in Spring Lake you can easily walk here. Definitely pay this store a visit if you are in the area.

Echoing the rest of the reviews here. Bottle Shop of Spring Lake is awesome - I needed a rare wine for a friends birthday. BSSL was the only liquor store in the country that carried the wine and was able to ship to where I needed.

I called them to discuss details and they were more than friendly. I was also surprised by the knowledge they had about this rare wine. Two day shipping was cheaper than most competitors and was completed quickly. When I had issues paying with my Canadian credit card, they were quick to help out.

Can’t say enough good things about this place, I’d trust them in the future with no hesitations.

Bought a bottle online a few weeks ago. They were so quick to communicate with me any issues and shipped it out the same day. I got the bottle the very next day! Excellent service. If I need to get something that is not local to me I will definitely check this place first.

great selection and fair prices on wines from rare vintages/producers to everyday table wines, can't go wrong here no matter what you're looking for or your price range. weekend's feature a highly knowledgable staff on hand and tasting events.

they also have a solid beer and spirits selection (and small artisan cheese cooler, nice touch), but the wine and staff is where they earn my 5 stars.

From helping me build two cellars of the top French , Italian and US wines, to finding interesting value reds and whites, to exploring craft liquors and beers, or mixing wine with complementary cheeses, this is the premier wine and liquor shop on the east coast, and I have dealt with many of them from Florida, to Manhattan, to Boston. The Murray family and their staff are first class- always helpful, knowledgable, and competitively priced, with a deep inventory and access to most anything !

This is my go to spot whenever I have a work function or a large party that I need to buy various types of wine for. They always know what to recommend and I’m never disappointed in what we end up with. They always work within my budget too which is awesome! If I’m looking for several cases of wine and several cases of beer or just a six pack of cider they always have just the right thing.

Amazing selection of high end and rare wines at "affordable" prices. The staff really knows thier stuff. Stop on in if you're a wine lover in the area, you won't regret it (but your wallet might, whoops!).

Best wine shop at the Jersey Shore! Well stocked on spirits as well. Gourmet cheeses, crackers, jam, etc. Decent beer selection but not great. Rare bottles too.

Best place around if you want higher end wines or non basic spirits/liquores. Haven't seen chartreuse, maraschino or amaro nonino anywhere else local. Unexpected selection of cheese and other nibbles too.
