Loughran Point

The perfect spot to fish, sit with a cup of coffee, explore or just take in the salt water smells and beautiful boats. If you are a scuba diver you might want to pull a lobster from the jetty rocks. Tides sometimes are strong but for the experienced swimmer it won't be a problem. There is also a small park, public restrooms and the coast guard station

Nice little spot for fishing or just sightseeing. Clean restrooms.

I come to this serene place to remind myself that a power greater than myself is in control, not me. It is very relaxing to watch the boats come in and out of the ocean. To hear the seagulls crying for a morsel to eat and the sun warming my soul is so grounding. Yeah....it's that good.

We saw someone playing with their dog in the water while we were watching the Sun go down.

Clean, clear water and a friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend ✔

Great for fishing in the inlet, whenever peak high tide hits it usually yields the best results for fishing.

Very relaxing place to sit and watch boats come in and out of the inlet. I come here often just to get away for alittle while.

I love going here just to sit and park and watch the boats come in off the ocean or head out to the ocean. It has a new park and several new picnic tables that are great to sit and eat lunch or ice cream at. There is tons of parking, if you are going to leave your car just make sure to pay to park when it's in season. Great spot for fishing also.

I LOVE this place! Boats of all types just going in and out of the inlet. Very calming to watch all the fishermen and fisherwomen catch a whole lot of nothing. Grab a cup of coffee and just be present.

Now folks this is what a real Lobster roll looks like. Fifteen bucks each, loaded with buttery lobster on s potato roll. My spouse and I shared by the Manasquan inlet in NJ. Available at "Point Lobster" I wish you could taste the deliciousness.

Always a great place to sit and watch the fisherman's and birds and boats go by. Very relaxing.. bring a book newspaper or listen to the radio and watch life go by peacefully.

I always loved the ocean, reminds me of how big God's creation really is. Free quiet and Serene. Thought a great fishing to, especially at high tide. And or incoming tide.

Used to go with my grandparents back in the '70's to watch the boats. Almost 50 years later, I took mom up to do the same. Love it in the off-season.

It's a awesome place to go it's very laid-back you can think, fish, and watch the boat ride by and the people is very friendly God's creation
