the best mexican food around. i have been coming to this place for years and i love it. all the food i ever had has been amazing. no complaints whatsoever. 110% recommend!!

Ordered Doordash delivery and the food came in less than 35 minutes. It was still hot and very good. Very impressive to pack the fajitas in the pineapple and still come nice and neat, not ruined or spilled. My cheese enchiladas were tasty and came with beans and rice entree. I really enjoyed the packaged tres leche cake not being destroyed.

I had the tacos de carnitas, pastor and tinga. Also had a side of nopales. The food was absolutely phenomenal! My partner ordered the tacos de birria which were also very tasty. This will be my go-to spot whenever I'm in the area! Also, the service was super kind, quick and friendly! I can't wait to come back :)

There's not much to the restaurant itself. Small, with about 10 or so tables. I've been here twice, and both times have had excellent meals! The food is always on point (I love the yellow rice), and the people who own and work here are very friendly! I would absolutely recommend trying Taqueria Atexquita if you happen to be in Penns Grove!

The server was very friendly and attentive. The food came out quick and was really good. The horchata is really good here. All in all good experience.

I ordered a pulled pork huarache and some nachos. And oh my Lord, the pulled pork huarache was amazing. It may have been one of the tastiest things I've ever eaten. The chips were deliciously crunchy, tasted homemade. I can't wait to try something else very soon.

Great food and friendly service. Birria Taco's are a 1st place tie with El Nopal in Vineland. You just simply can't go wrong ordering these.

First time customer, and wont be my last! Food was fresh and well made. The staff was polite and helpful as I navigated the menu. The beans could use a little something, but besides that, flawless! I ordered a chicken taco, beef taco, and a platter - which was plenty to feed 2 for lunch. Next time I go, I'm going to shoot for a Tuesday to catch their 3 for $3 Taco Tueaday special. Muy bien!

Phenomenal place! First time I had a chance to stop and check it out, and I was definitely amazed. I had the Enchiladas de Mole, it was very delicious. The chicken tasted like it was slow cooked in a Cast Iron Dutch Oven, and the Mole sauce was so good. I have never actually had Mole before, I was very impressed, I believe it's made with chocolate but I could be wrong. overall I really liked my dinner from this joint. Iam looking forward to stopping again when I am in the area. 10/10 would Mole again. Great food very impressed

I ordered tacos de lengua with cilantro and cebolla. I found their place clean and tighty. The food was phenomenal taste and authentic. I also ordered quesadilla de flor de calabaza! 😋 Yummy 10+ been a while in the east coast tasting one mean amazing quesadilla de flor de calabaza! I forgot to ask to remove the jalapeños but man when I say it was delicious!! I can't wait to order more food! People are sometimes to picky and to ungrateful no one will ever cook like you're grandma or family member. Maybe those people should start a restaurant. You don't know how hard is to keep a business afloat. I respect business owners. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Food is delicious, sometimes they get busy and orders get mixed up , I feel like it’s important to have someone that can speak bilingual taking orders and working counter .

Awesome place to eat. Great food and customer service was awesome here. She help me find some of the dishes I liked and drinks too. I love Mexican food and if you do too this is a great place to find it. I would of course go here again if I'm ever in the area again.

It's a tiny shop that used to be a pizzeria. This is not fine dining. This is working class Mexican cuisine, and I really enjoyed the pastor. My meal was exceptional and under $10.

Small place with great food at great prices. My wife and I ate here as is was highly recommended by our hotel check-in lady as we stopped for the night on a trip down south.
Almost did not go in to this establishment as at first glance it appeared to be only take-out, Boy am I glad we stopped. The menu is large and the portions were fine. They do not have a liquor license, but if you can overlook that issue this is a great restaurant. .

We stopped in for the first time today. Our waitress was very friendly. The restaurant is small and unpretentious but the food is fantastic! The chips were homemade and came with a delicious homemade salsa. The steak chilaquiles verde were amazing and tamales and tacos very good as well.
We'll definitely be back!
