Very nice and clean trail. Had a lot of hills for a good workout. Even with tons of people, there was lots of room. Would love to go back. Had a partial view of Happy Vally when we got to the top. There were restrooms on the mother road trail entrance.

Beautiful nature park with nicely maintained trails. Great place for wildlife. Seen a few deer and even a coyote. Lots of different entrances to the trails. Mather road entrance has a nice big lot with bathrooms and picnic tables. Trails are marked well and it's a great place to take in nature.
Dogs are sadly not allowed on trails.
About 3 miles if you do both loops.

It's a nice easy family weekend trail. Would recommend for anyone looking to let an hour or two pass by in nature. Great all year around.

A great urban hike but the woods are dry and brittle this time of year. It's a wonderful park but they encourage you to stay on the paths, and for good reason. There's a great deal of poison oak and ivy scattered throughout. I made the upper ridge circumambulation and enjoyed it immensely.

Clear and good trail, rocky in some parts. Good for a workout if you don't want to go to the gym. Partly shaded the whole time. Not much a summit view but a pretty hike nonetheless. Restrooms are currently closed. Dogs are allowed but need to stay on a leash

First time doing a couple of loops. It was a bit challenging at first. Inclines, rocks, and tree roots. Friendly folks. The feet feel the path. It's like being in a mini forest and wildlife with surround sound.

What an absolute pleasant surprise. What a great trail. It was a great day the sun was peeking through the Treetops, they were such a sweet smell to the air, I felt like I was on a hiking trail at 6000 feet. At a normal walking pace I did the trail in about 50 minutes just taking my time. It was so relaxing I'll be back many times more. If you live anywhere close put this on your bucket list for this summer.

Great short hike and views without going far from the Gresham/Portland area. The bathrooms were pretty good (some wet hand dryer smells) and there is a small picnic area by the parking lot. The trail makes a large circle and it's pretty easy to keep track of where you're at (some signs have part of the map scratched out or missing). There aren't supposed to be dogs on the trail and we didn't see any during our hike, however there was some evidence that there had been one or two previously. If I lived in the apartments nearby, I would walk there often. :)

I never knew how noisy the world was until I went for a hike. Inside as you would guess is a beautiful forest with chattering birds singing and strong smell of oak. There’s a nice place to park outside.

The trail is at an intermediate level. Takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes to explore around 90% of the trail. You got to be careful though as there’s a lot of little stones on the path.

Beautiful trail was very clean it is steep going up into it so be prepared to wear good shoes! Durning summer there is poison oak so be careful. This is also not a dog friendly park be advised!

Nice hike with some hills but not difficult. Well marked trails.
Another choice in this beautiful part of the world.

Nice park for a quick walk. I haven't hiked all the trails, but the top loop was nice but much of a view. Trails do not have gravel so can be slippery and have some trip hazards. Road noise from Mather Rd (I think) about 50dB, so not exactly back to nature. Restrooms are closest due Covid19.

One of the best trails I've been on in the area. Mostly new growth. Saw hazelnut, pear, and apple trees, and a couple of deer. Decent inclines. The trails are clearly marked at every intersection.

Muddy after a huge rain last night but I hiked every trail and managed not to slip. Saw four deer and listened to a sweet kid's hiking song. This park is no dogs. Usually I have my four-leggeds with me so this was a nice change of pace... literally.

While the trails are on the short side, the vertical component makes up for it. Occasional hikers like me will definitely get a workout. That said, there's a lot to see... including deer! See pics. I like this park and the hike.

It's a nature park with real trails. Spotted deers, but they ran away fast. Enjoyed the hike to the summit and around the park. The park is not too big, great for family.

Clean and well taken care of hike trail. Simple but nice. An escape from the town around it. Be warned though not everyone wears their mask when passing by others on the trail even though there’s signs all over the entrance. Not the parks fault but will warn for those who don’t want to be around that.

Loved at twin creeks and we would run on the trails all the time and even used the trails when it snowed to get to a friends house! Beautiful place! It's like another world once you get through the tree line!

One of my favorite local trails. Even after a heavy rain the trails are still great to hike in.

Plenty of trails and an endless sea of ferns. I was delighted to spot a grove of oaks, and am planning to come back in the spring to see them in leaf!
