Had an unexpected event arise that made me miss my appointment for my passport but it was imperative that I have my passport for an upcoming work trip. They had every right to turn me away as I had missed my appointment and showed up unannounced. However, Ana at county records saved the day by going the extra mile to squeeze me in between appointments while assisting other customers calmly, professionally, thoroughly and with an awesome attitude. So grateful she was there that day. She provided a very positive experience.

Talked to Melany(?) in this department.
Asked for help to identify 2 old liens on our property. Melany(?) found the information I asked for quickly. She was friendly, easy to talk to and efficient.
She is with no doubt, one of the best county employs I've had the pleasure contacting.

This was surprisingly a great experience - the office staff were friendly and very informative!

I was in last week to file for a permit for our church alarm system. The girl who took my payment was extremely rude to me. When asking her a question about payments she told me “I don’t care how you do business” she was then extremely rude to the next person. It would appear they’re treating everyone like criminals just because it’s attached to the jail. This is ridiculous and as a tax paying citizens we should be able to go ask a simple question or two. The girl I’m referring to has greasy long hair. Drinks out of a (outdated) hydro flask and is probably mid 20s. She works behind the glass taking payments. I also heard her say something about me being gay as I walked away. Nice going Washington County
