This hotel is a gem! The value you get for your money can't be matched. The rooms are roomy and comfortable. You get a fridge but no microwave. There is a free hot breakfast for everyone. Customer service is fine. No coffee maker in the rooms but there is coffee 24 hours in the lobby and the quality is good. This is my first time staying at a True hotel and I wasn't sure but I recommend it!

Modern and clean. Rooms are funky and well designed.Location is not great, but it is fine. It is still a short drive from many restaurants and grocery stores. Staff is super friendly. We will come back.

We stopped for the night here during our trip. This hotel is new and clean. Loved the reception area and service. I would recommend this hotel for your 1 or 2 night stays if visiting Eugene or passing by. They have decent breakfast, 24/7 coffee and market place for food.
4 stars for the rooms because there are obviously no views (which I did not care about anyway), else I would give 5 star for the overall experience. The best part was no carpets in the room - makes me feel more comfortable about the cleanliness. Thanks to a very sweet and welcoming staff.

The rooms are bright and clean. They are on the small side, but they do have everything you would need for a great stay. The lobby is very welcoming, with lots of nooks for working or studying.

Great stay with our small pup. The room was perfect for one night’s stay while travelling home from a long trip. Room /bed was very comfortable, very clean and loved all the thoughtful amenities for a small space - best of all no carpet! Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the 24 hour access to snack/beverages was appreciated. We will definitely stay at a Hilton TRU again!

Very clean rooms, a nice breakfast spread. The water pressure is a little lacking, but overall, it is a great hotel. The staff were very friendly. I will be staying again.

I don't usually write hotel reviews as I'm just staying overnight and don't require all the bells and whistles. Every stay seems to be about the same, but to be honest Hilton does offer better service than the Hyatt or Marriott. Let's not forget the use of digital check in, digital key to your room and choosing your own room.

I'll start by saying I've never stayed at Tru before. I needed a place to crash overnight from a long drive in California back to Seattle. Tru was reasonably priced, recently renovated, had a lot of great reviews and it was the midpoint for the drive.

I checked in through my mobile app, chose my room a day in advance and got in late. The process was seamless getting to my room. The mobile app worked outside on the exterior doors after hours as well.

After I was able to get into my room, the staff adjusted the temperature for me and turned the heater on since it was in the 40's outside. There was also a letter on the desk thanking me for my stay providing clear instructions on parking decal, breakfast, etc.

The room was extremely clean, there was hot water in the shower, the wifi was fast and the bed was comfortable. I will say if you do decide to pick your own room in the further left end second floor, you will be able to hear the cars passing by. It did not bother me, but something to keep in mind if you are a light sleeper.

The room itself was a King-size and did not have a closet. It is set up in a minimalistic way where there is a red rod with a few hangers exposed in an open space for you to hang your clothes. It wasn't a problem for me as I pack light. There are additional hooks against the wall for you to hang your bags, jackets, etc.

The bathroom itself was very large, brightly lit and the ventilation worked very well. I will say theu provide a soap, lotion, shampoo and body dispenser which you have to use your hand to squeeze out. I did have a bit of a difficult time squeezing the handsoap out. This is a design flaw to keep in mind for folks with issues with their wrists or arthritis. Hopefully, they have a solution for this.

Other than the dispensers in the bathroom, everything else was great. My interaction with staff was limited as I just went in and left.

Genuinely welcoming, diligent, and authentic staff. This hotel was unique in "big" ways. The lobby decor was engaging as much as it was interactive. There's a pool table, couches, you know.... Comfort in mind. The front desk also is kind of like a hub for snacks, beer and wine! (You won't get totally screwed on alcohol price either

The Absolute BEST part of my stay was BREAKFAST. I really wasn't listening when being informed about breakfast... (Because my mind went to default "free hotel breakfast" have never been something to look forward to. Tru really hit it out of the park. Fresh cook scrambled eggs, bagels, sausage, all freshly cooked... AND THERE IS A PANCAKE SETUP THAT WILL AUTOMATICALLY MAKE YOU 2 PANCAKES JUST BY WAVING YOUR HAND!!!!! In conclusion my stay at this hotel was amazing! Staff was awesome and so was everything that fall off. If you're in town and have the chance to stay here I say do it you won't regret it!!!

Convenient location. Rooms were fine and staff at front desk were very friendly and helpful. Even called the room after check in to see if everything satisfactory. Requested extra pillows and brought up right away.

First time at a Tru. Love it so far! Minimalist vibe. USB chargers. Sustainability measures. Good options for breakfast: pancakes, eggs, sausage, fruit, bagels, etc. Super friendly front desk. Pool table and gym. Reader board with info on location sites. Very cute. Will definitely look for this brand when booking again.

2nd time I've used Tru, Duluth and Eugene. Love the hard surface finishes. You can tell immediately how clean the room is. Great showers and beds. Very little road noise.

Tru by Hilton was the best hotel we stayed at on our entire vacation. The rooms are well designed and seem like the next generation of hotels. They are very clean, very efficient, very open, and very green. No extraneous packaging on the usual hotel items. The bathroom is spacious, and the shower head is so high you can walk under it. The common areas are welcoming, open, easy to access, comfortable and more social. Loved the billiards table.

The hotel is very clean has a lot of amenities and freebies that you don't expect from most hotels. I was welcomed with two bottles of water and some snacks which I truly appreciated after a long 13 hour drive from LA. This place also has a pool table in case you're bored in the lobby they give you free breakfast in the morning which is pretty cool and the staff are fantastic and customer service oriented. The only con I can think of is is not nearby anywhere close to eat and at night time the area by the bridge is kind of seedy. Otherwise this is the perfect place to stay of you're visiting family at the nearby University of Oregon.

A great bargain! This is a cozy place, very clean, nice staff, and quiet, convenient spot, with a view of the river to boot!

Tru seems to be Hilton's new low budget/ hip/ young vibe hotel but has all of the comforts you'd expect. Smaller rooms nicely arranged, no frills but still comfortable. Water pressure and temperature were good in the bathroom, stall shower was big enough and the shower head was actually tall enough for my 6'2" husband with room to spare. Toiletries were very nice except for the fixed dispensers but that seems to be the way these days... Decent beds, soft linens, top blanket was a bit small for my kids to share comfortably but again, enough. Even rooms have a lovely view of the river but beware the road noise in the morning and the reasonably bright street lights by night, might be just the 2nd floor? Night security was visibly present so we had no problems with break ins.

Staff was lovely.. Grab and go breakfast was tasty, maybe not as good as the hot breakfast they plan to have but still good. Water bottle filler and ice machine next to the gym were helpful. Lobby has great areas for hanging out, really impressive gym and a fun workspace. Very impressive in total!!
